This place seems to have closed down. Today the website took my order for collection but, when I got there, it was all boarded up. A local guy said it has been like that for weeks. At least the auto-order system rejected my payment, but not before I had spend half an hour in a traffic jam trying to get there.
Last Saturday I ordered chicken curry with fried rice. Was disgusting curry sauce had no taste just like gravy, and the egg fried rice was grey
NEVER WILL ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN . CUSTOMER SERVICE IS UNACCEPTABLE FROM THEM. ORDERED LAST WEEK , SAID FOOD WOULD BE DELIVERED IN HALF A HOUR TURNED UP 1 HOUR 45 MINS LATE .RANG BACK UP SAID WOULD REPLACE FOOD AS IT WAS COLD , NOT EDIBLE , MISSING ITEMS. SAID WOULD REPLACE AND £10 OFF NEXT ORDER. SAID NO TO £10 OFF ORDER WHEN TRYING TO ORDER AS WE HAD FREE FOOD. THE NEW FOOD WHICH WE WAS ENTITLED TO BECAUSE MESSED UP THE ORDER . WE WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM YOU EVER AGAIN ...
Absolutely rubbish got home and wasn't even the right food and absolutely disappointed.
The food is amazing chicken curry egg fried rice salt a pepper chips and chicken chow mane , mini spring roll curry sauce a little sweet but still very nice delivered very fast took around 15 to 20 mins fastest Chinese I’ve ever order and every think came fresh price was average very happy thank you so much rainbow garden u have made my night deffo will order again delivery guy very respectful thank you for all the service I received

I’ve always used this take out for many many years, odd occasion I’ve tried elsewhere when it’s closed, nothing beats here, always the same and never disappointed, staff lovely and friendly. Well deserved 5 stars!!
Have been using rainbow garden for over 7 years and have remained loyal as i love everything about this chinese. Firstly i love the woman on the phone she understands and talks clearly she always makes it a pleasant, simple experience which is important to me as i have little patience and get frustrated easy with talking on the phone..there have been times where i have called up with just ingredients and flavours in mind that i fancy and she totally works with me and makes me something special. Secondly the quality of the food is brilliant and consistent! I am NEVER unhappy with my rainbow garden takeaway and love it everytine an never feel like i just wasted £30 lol. Last but not least you wont wait the usual hour for ur takeaway they will have it at your door in about 20 minutes! Never once been late! If this takeaway shop shut down id be well and truly at a loss! Keep it up rainbow garden we love you haha x
Not had a bad experience with them in the years we’ve been ordering. Sometimes try other Chinese places (New Rainbow Garden is closed on a Monday) but always come back to them. Only downside is there’s no online ordering but it’s worth a phone call and I’m happy all the money goes to them and not the big companies like Just Eat. Always super quick to deliver to us in Kings Heath.
