It's always been hit and miss but who ever the chef is now keep him best meal I've ever had. Definitely will be ordering again
Maryam Rafiei Three days ago, my daughter ordered food from Lee takeaway, After eating, she got food poisoning, and we had to spend a whole day in the hospital because of it. My son didn’t know about this incident, and tonight he ordered food from the same place. An hour after eating, he started having severe diarrhea and vomiting. I absolutely do not recommend this shop to anyone.
I had a terrible experience with this takeaway. My child felt sick and started vomiting after eating the food. It seems like a case of food poisoning. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Do not order from this place. I normally NEVER do reviews but in this case, I need to for others!!! I spent £40 on an order - the crispy beef came burnt, literally could snap it off as well as crispy chicken - dry. I have a video of it but couldn’t upload. I made the mistake by ordering directly and I phoned the restaurant, a nice lady(the server) answered and said to call back. Called back and she passed message to explain Lee, the manager, said no refund or nothing, just don’t order again? And just said our food is cooked fresh? What’s that got to do with food being burnt / over cooked? Disgusting customer service, violation, as you’ve served over cooked food. Feel robbed. We work hard for our money and this owner does not deserve a penny off people! Would never order again and will never order direct and always through another party. No wonder this place removed from Uber Eats. Please do not waste your time and hard earned money with this place.
Attempted to order from here last night using UberEats but had to cancel the order after waiting 2hrs for the delivery. Tried calling them several times but no answer.
I order Beef Satay and the beef I received is definally not having a satay sauce .As well food tasting so bad .
Poor quality over priced food. Granted my request for no egg in my rice however it was smothered all over the vermicelli. I've never known egg in this dish before. Sechuan sauce was below average with zero flavour and the tofu was bland and not seasoned adequately. Won't be buying from here again. Very disappointed. If I Could Give Zero Stars I would - First and last time I'm eating here! Ordered Won Ton Soup and Spare Ribs (Peking Sauce) Soup had a funky smell to it, soup was bitter, tangy on the throat, gross ! Like they had just make the soup out of something they had left over. Never had Won Ton Soup like this. The Spare Rib meat you could tell was old and just re-heated with sauce poured over it. The soup I couldn't eat at at all after 1 spoon. Yuk ! Threw it away. Ribs had few bites, threw them away too. Service was prompt on collection though. I've order from KangXi Imperial down the road couple times, and it was tasty, and a lot fresher. I don't know how businesses can serve this quality of food.
Been a few times now, 3 times for collection and 5 for delivery and every time have the drivers been well mannered and on time with food piping hot just as one wishes! The store is accomodating with leather seats enough for 6 sets of backsides with plenty of room standing too. Good prices and good portion sizes too and great food. Personally I like the Cantonese sweet and sour and the salt and pepper chips/ SP chicken. The BBQ and curry sauce are also good with drier dishes to dip into. Regular customer now!
