   Once was superb, still ok but could do better. Tables need a more thorough cleansing between customers Coffee is ok but rather weak Scones, with cream and jam. Scones not always tasting fresh, sometimes they are, others they taste frozen…also, clotted cream….please stop freezing it, it ruins it! Has been known to be still frozen and very hard. Tastes awful

   Picked this venue as it was just outside Matlock and wanted somewhere quieter for lunch. We turned up 20 minutes before end of food service fortunately the staff were amazing. Just had enough paninis, jacket potatoes and toasties to feed our group of 9 and without hesitation we all had a very nice lunch. Kids loved the deluxe hot chocolates

   Despite being advertised as dog friendly, dogs are NOT allowed in the cafe. After taking my order and money (and not mentioning this fact) I was then informed we would have to sit outside. Despite it starting to rain! Eventually managed to get a refund (hopefully, since I'd paid with a card) with no apology, just being told "we don't make the rules" Needless to say we won't be going back!

   21 Jun 25. Very nice coffee shop at the garden centre. Reasonable selection of food and drink. Seating inside and outside. Dogs only outside. Was advised they finish hot food at 2:30 which was a shame as we were going to drop in for food after 3:30. No access from the main road.

   Lovely food in a lovely setting. There's plenty of seating in a bright conservatory and a good selection of healthy foods including jacket-potatoes, toasties and homemade quiches. The staff were friendly and helpful too

   Poor expensive food, lousy weak coffee and a rude manager. We as customers have every right to complain when served below average food. You moaned about us sending the (small cups) coffee's back, well we wouldn't have sent them back if they had been made correctly and actually had any coffee in them to start with. 2 shots really!!! I don't care if the vegetable soup was homemade it was still cold, watery and tasteless. Maybe you should try some yourself. I don't review places that often and some are negative, but some are 5* a point you seem to have missed. Perhaps instead of showing contempt you could maybe work at improving the quality of food and drinks you serve in your cafe. Mocking a genuine review shows how little you care for the customers you serve. Good food and service means customers will return. Poor food and a rude manager means they won't which is bad for business especially a small business. £21 may not seem a lot to some but for a really poorly presented unappetising lunch of ploughman's, soup and two small coffee's it was. Read my review from Marsh Green farm shop cafe. The food quality is excellent and the prices are better than yours so it can be done.

   Pleasant cafe inside the garden centre. Unusual amount on offer including full lunches. I can't speak for these, but the coffee was good and the shortbread was spectacular.

   I don’t have to sell this place as find it a treat every time I visit whether it is to visit the garden centre or for something to eat. We visited on Sunday with my father in law who is wheelchair bound and sounded very friendly for wheelchairs. In the garden centre the staff are very helpful and friendly. We had coffee this particular morning and had a visitor to the table see picture.

   Really nice cafe with the most amazing scones, gardening centre has all sorts (including quirky moustache teacup flower pots) and the shop has a wide variety of gift and home ideas
