Love it. It used to be a right old dive. Last year Big Smoke bought it and invested a lot of money in it. It's now a proper traditional local pub. Warm and comfortable with a great atmosphere and lovely staff.

The staff was really friendly. Great music, great vibe, amazing atmosphere. We got a Sunday roast and it was one of the best one we had so far. Highly recommend to go for the trio meats. The chicken was practically melt of the bones. The pork got super nice crunch to it and the beef is well cooked.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. They added a couple of extra places to our already large group without any fuss. The beer from the Big Smoke brewery was excellent. Food was a reasonable price and all our group were served in a timely manner. Food was very good with the sea bass and the schnitzel getting very favourable mentions. Very close to the Thames path for any walkers out there. Recommended.

Fantastic pub with excellent service! The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. They have a unique lineup of beers, especially the IPAs, which were some of the best I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was great—lively but still relaxed, and the backyard is a perfect spot for smokers to unwind. Highly recommend this place for a great drink and a great vibe!

First time back since the new ownership. Quite a few changes. Now firmly a live music and sports bar. Guinness wasn't great. The Neck Oil I replaced it with was ok. Decided not to eat.

I often call to order my lunch from this restaurant. My first experience was good so I returned a few more times. However, the service has got bad. I have been given the hard, brown scraps of the bottom of the pot, instead of the soft and white colour that Thai Fragrant rice needs to be. On a couple of other occasions the rice has been very hard. Not quite sure why they would think it is ok to serve such awful food to the public. But then I suppose most people wouldn't know the difference as they may feel the bad rice is meant to taste hard and brown. I would definitely not order from this place again. Very disappointing!

Great pub with an awesome live music vibe. The new landlord is doing a cracking job. Decent beer on tap and a good pub menu as well. Highly recommended!

It was quite dead on a Friday night which I was surprised at given the good reviews. They had a limited selection of drinks- only had 2 ciders, 1 on tap and 1 bottled (which was limited and kiwi of all things!) which I thought was pretty bad as even rough back ally pubs have more than that! They on 'Tastecard' and advertise as offering 2 for 1. When I tried to use this offer the boss insisted that to access this offer 2 people had to order 3 courses each. Nowhere is that in the terms and conditions on their site page. TBH I got the vibe that I probably wasn't the first to point this out... But I thought 'whatever, I'll just take it up with Tastecard'. The burgers were just ok- the patty was clearly homemade which is a good move but the chips were odd.

A quiet homely pub with good indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly and accommodating staff. Seems to be popular with the locals. The Thai food looked good.
