A wonderful surprise find for morning coffee with "pastries". Good value for money and quick service. We ate in, relaxing at the window bar seating, happily watching the rain! Jasmine in particular was very helpful, she made sure to check in and ask if we were ready to order anything else regularly which was very helpful as we were there for bottomless pancakes! A special thank you to our waitress Romina, who was so sweet and kind — she looked after us and our two girls beautifully. “The Canbury Arms on Canbury Park Road in Kingston upon Thames. A superb offering from the Young's stable. The service and interaction from and with the staff is from the top draw! A good offering from the keg, covering many tastes. There are also three cask ales on offer, including a couple from the Surrey Hills Brewery. A wonderful airy dining area and a couple of 'secret' patios. All great fun and lovely cold beer to boot. There is also a discreet, private dining area upstairs, ideal for business meetings, celebrations and the like. A must visit!!”

My mind was always put at rest after speaking with her, as my ex would threaten me with all sorts. She is down to earth and very easy to talk to. “One of the best boutique cafe in Hampton Wick (South West London). The Barista is very attentive to detail.Superb desserts, delicious homemade savory food, sandwiches, including vegan options. The homemade soups are great especially in cold days and is a great alternative. Stylish interior. Nice staff. The lady "Simona" is very friendly and she makes everyone feel welcome. When shopping in nearby Kingston Upon Thames, we always go to this cafe.If you are tired of the big branded coffee shops and you want to have a really good coffee, this is the place for you!”

“Almost every time I’ve been there, I have been given something for free. The other day I bought two bao buns and they gave me an extra two for free, this has happened more than once. Today I received a free packet of Ramen. There are so many more examples of this that I can’t put it into this review 20/10 recommend this place. Has a massive variety and at a reasonable price. “We visited here on a Saturday around 3pm for a celebration dinner. We booked in advance for inside seating. There is outside seating which is perfect on a sunny date as right next to the river. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with their recommendations for food and drinks. We all opted for three courses, they do have weekend set Menus which is worth a look. All the meals arrived in perfect timing, they gave enough time between each meal so it wasn’t rushed. Everything was cooked beautifully and a really enjoyable meal. We will definitely be visiting again!”

“Came in earlier to watch Wicked, I was a bit late so needed info on whether it had started yet or the trailers were still on, I spoke to Alekai, she was very helpful, very empathetic to my conandrum and showed genuine care, she quickly and efficiently took my food order and prepared it perfectly, thanks to her great efforts I got into my screen just as the movie started so didn't miss anything! All thanks to her great efforts! Her amazing costumer care genuinely helped make my experience a truly excellent one!”

“I rate 5 star for the service as all the staff are fantastic, 5 stars for the lovely cakes, but sadly, only a 1 star for the atmos/ambience because the new owners, I believe, decided to remove the beautiful piano that I used to adore playing there. Also it was linked to constant background piano notes, cleverly playing out of the piano while no one played it. That really was quite relaxing and unique whilst enjoying the food and cakes, and after my weekly office job , I would look forward to my visits there at the weekends to unwind and sometimes play.. A great hub and centrepiece has been ripped out of the heart of the cafe. It blended in very well and also was a fine backdrop against the old churchyard opposite through the tall windows. I just was preparing my Xmas carols repertoire and some more new lyrics when I visited there last Saturday, but my piano was gone!”
