Super friendly staff and great atmosphere. Really enjoyed the drinks. Didn't try the food though but lots of dif areas and spacs to drink
to be honest, i know it is a bar but the food is so good considering it is is bar; i would expect this food in a pub:restaurant! very very good food! lauren was our server and she was absolutely amazing! would 100% return! 10/10 service 10/10 service 9/10 atmosphere (it was 7.45, at 8.25pm when we left, once we left it got busy as anything) our server was amazing (lauren and ethan)
This O'Neill's has been completely redecorated and is super cool and very clean. The decor is modern and will suit most tastes. There is plenty of seating. The atmosphere is great with music playing all the time which is not too loud that you can still talk over. Screens also show current football matches in different parts of the pub. The food is freshly cooked and delicious. Both dinner and breakfast meals are very filling. The staff are very cheerful and helpful. Can't wait to go again.
Updated: 11/09/2025. Still 5* following refurbishment but the place is fresher, staff as friendly as ever, and food just as good! Just a note... table nunber was missing so had to work it out. Might want better discs - other bars with the same have same problem and having to guess when ordering or using app can be difficult. Suggest etched numbers. ****** Happy St Patrick's day Kingston! Had bottemless brunch the food and drinks were great. The staff were lovely
One of the best options to get a few drinks with your friends after a long day of work. The place has good music at a decent volume level so you don't have to scream which, is very important to me in a bar. It can also be a good place to watch some sport matches as they have a big projector at O'Neill's. Staff has always been friendly with me. I have honestly never had an issue with any of them and they tend be very good vibes. They have outdoor seating if weather isn't so bad and the food they serve is quite decent to be from bar. Prices are also quite good as they aren't super expensive. I'd say prices are balanced.
You sort of know what you're going to get with an O'Neill's, which is a good thing. I was very impressed here, the security was efficient and friendly. Although it was busy, there was a good atmosphere and the service was very quick. The fight was being shown on various screens around the pub, and although that's not my thing, the rest of the atmosphere was good. One of the better branches in the chain.
This is a ively town centre pub with a good overall vibe. It loses a star as it was a little chaotic when football was on (Argentina vs Netherlands). There are plenty of screens. but the view was consistently obscured by patrons coming and going. Screen in the corner of the main seating area needs to be a lot larger to make the experience more rewarding.
Pub is okay. The rating is for the staff, especially the security. They love to yell. Telling everyone to remove their hats but all of the were wearing American baseball caps. If you u must for a quick stop, sure, but don't expect to be treated as a person
