Incredible service, great selection. Clothes are graded with colors so you can easily see your sizes. When they do trades (not all the time obviously, eyes on socials help) you can really keep things sustainable! I swapped out pieces I no longer wear for a leather jacket I now wear daily. I also have multiple other items (including the pictures pants) I’ve purchased there in amazing second hand condition. Adore the concept, adore the staff, adore the store.
I’ve popped into Beg, Steal and Borrow a couple of times for a browse and always love the stock and general vibe (think Brick Lane vintage markets but with a friendlier Manchester energy), so I finally decided to trade some clothes in yesterday, and I’m so glad I did! The process was so quick and easy and I was offered £35 cash or £65 store credit for a bag of items I love but have grown out of, which I thought was brilliant!! I accepted the store credit (that’s worth like 6 items from the shop because everything is so reasonably priced - seriously, I saw some gorgeous vintage blazers for £15?!?!) and I’ll be back again soon to use it! I could not recommend this place enough if you’re wanting to get rid of some old clothes but don’t want to sit around waiting for them to sell on Depop or Vinted, or if you just fancy treating yourself to some gorgeous clothes and accessories without breaking the bank! I’ve already been gushing about it to my friends and anyone who will listen!
I was so happy to give clothes a new, beautiful home and gaining a whole new wardrobe!!! Statement pieces and casual clothes too. I feel like I always find pieces I’d never think of wearing or finding anywhere else. Affordable prices especially compared to vintage shops. Erin is the loveliest shop own I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! Her shop is filled with wonderful and unique second hand clothing. They throw great events and the website is super useful. My favourite second hand experience. Always going in and there’s always something new to see
