Foods shocking - salt n pepper chips come with raw garlic purée making chips inedible. Chicken doughy and stringy. Best thing about are order was egg fried rice and spring rolls lol, such a shame, never again
Can’t understand the reviews this place has. The worst meal I have ever had. Ordered chicken curry, chicken fried rice and salt and pepper chips. The chips were very very garlicky the rice was very dry and the curry had absolutely no taste whatsoever! WTH how can a curry have zero taste? Must have forgot to put curry flavour in. It looked appealing but ended up leaving it. This is the second time trying this place because our go to Chinese was shut and the first time we only ordered chicken rice and we found a piece of plastic in the food (corner off a packet or something) wasn’t good. AVOID
Something not right here. I ordered, in fairness the delivery was pretty quick but the food which had chicken in it was not right and I left most of it. Even the sauce couldn’t hide it, I don’t know if it was undercooked or not even chicken but the texture wasn’t good and I wasn’t risking eating it. My own fault for not checking. But I have since checked and this takeaway has a 0 (yes ZERO) food rating with the Food Standards Agency from a few months ago this year. Wow! It got to be real hard to get such a disgusting rating .
Need to stop with the frozen chips, they go rock hard by the time you get your food delivery, ( even dog couldn’t chew one) , such a shame as everything else was beaut.
Always found this place to be nice and better value for money than local competition.
We love this takeaway usually. So disappointed tonight. Spare ribs and chicken balls obviously left over and reheated from a previous night, as they are rock hard. Yet to try the rice. I understand that tonight is busy for you, but as your prices haven't changed, we still expect the same quality. So disappointed, especially as we are loyal and regular customers. Tarnished our New Year's Eve a little.
Last night I bought special fried rice and salt and pepper chicken wings. The fried rice had spam in it. Spam. What is that all about. This used to be a good Chinese. Not 1 king prawn in a special fried rice..... all the meat was cut really small when it used to be decent portions. Hardly any wings compared to pre covid. Very poor quality too. I'll be shopping elsewhere in future. Used to be a solid 8/10 it's now scraping a 3. Lost my business
