Absolutely banging every time . Me and mum usually have 2x value dishes , seaweed soup and they give us freebies. Iv ordered alone last two times and smaller orders but food excellent even without free spring rolls. 5*+ see you soon
Thanks for the food poisoning ugh , ordered from here last night had chicken and veg and sweet sour chicken balls and spicy chips . Dont normally go here but my usual was shut . So my chkn and veg tatsed ok but the chicken was a very odd texture didnt appear under cooked so contined to eat it but was kinda weird, ate one chicken ball chicken was weird stringy and definitely not right and left a odd aftertaste the sweet sour sauce was so watery and was so strong with viniger it made my eyes water at first bit I ate .. Today have all the usual of food poisoning bad guts tired stomach cramps and so on definitely avoid this place Update: after my original post i was ill for another 5 days
Wow just had the £26 meal for 2 plus a portion of chips for under £30 I cannot believe the quality of the food it was absolutely beautiful every dish tasted lovely full of flavour cooked to perfection and so moorish like it had been cook by a Michelin starred chef I was nearly crying when I couldn’t eat any more I can not recommend this place enough we normally use hung wang but not any more please give this place a try you won’t be disappointed.
chips were heavily the seasame toast was amazing and the rice was pretty good overall the food was amazing and I will definitely order them again
Never had any issues with China chef, everything is always spot on. Staff are always polite! I order probably 2/3 a month, and I'll never go anywhere else! Highly recommended!
I ordered a family set meal last night (currently eating the leftovers this morning). I don't always leave reviews but as I was eating it last night and now, I'm thinking "this the best Chinese I've had in ages!" Decent size portions, plenty of meat in the dishes, all really flavoursome. I especially like the crispy shredded beef, the batter was genuinely crispy. Its great value too, especially for the set meals. On top of this, the staff are all really friendly too, particularly the lady that often answers the phone when I order. This is my go-to Chinese from now on.
Ordered food tonight at 5pm, website said it would take 2hours to be delivered. 7.25 still no food so ring up, told it would be 30mins max. 8.15 still no food, ring yet again, to be told it will be another 20mins. Went to collect in the end, finally got the food at 8.45, by this time we weren't really hungry. Food wasn't great anyway, chips overcooked, salt & pepper chicken was barely cooked, beef in the curry was chewy and tasteless. We order most weeks, but won't be in the future.
Love Chinese - Love China Chef. Of all the local Chinese Takeaways I have tried these are by far my favourite. Food comes quickly and is still piping hot. House special satay is full of meat and tastes amazing. Highly recommended.
Usually very good, but need to improve with their delivery time scales. Told 2 hours tonight but waited nearly 3. Had I known it was going to take 3 hours I would have gone elsewhere. Not the first time, usually at least 15 mins outside their delivery time.
