Excellent staff, they were very busy but still gave a personal service. Delicious breakfast, we highly recommend a visit. There is a choice of tables and chairs or sofa areas. There is a small children's play area - mini kitchen and some books.

A lovely little cafe in the Jewellery Quarter with a great selection of cakes. Both the flapjack and the Rocky Road were absolutely gorgeous. In fact it’s the best rocky roads i’ve ever had, it had Oreo, flakes, marshmallows and biscuit. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the cafe was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Independent coffee shop serving lovingly prepared tasty food, hot & cold drinks. If you're happy to wait for your order, you won't be disappointed. It's not fast food but it's worth the wait. The portions are generous to satisfy the hungriest of appetites. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I would definitely return and recommend this café.

Wonderful place. Staff is very nice and friendly. Their deserts are very tasty. Sadiksha served us couple of times is very helpful and friendly. Alisha over the counter is also very friendly and cooperative. Very good place for a cup of coffee and relax.

I had an excellent experience at Coffee Tales. The scrambled eggs on white sourdough with Cumberland sausage and back bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast with brioche topped with cinnamon, powdered sugar, strawberries, and blueberries was amazing. I also ordered fried eggs with bacon, which were delicious. Service was outstanding—though they said food might take 30 minutes, it only took about 10, and the drinks came out very quickly too. The staff were professional, friendly, and welcoming. The place itself is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommend!

The food here is so delicious. I always bring too many friends but nobody seems to mind when we share sofas or take up the big table. Staff are super friendly and helpful and it's a lovely atmosphere.

Amazing English breakfast. Nicest one I've had for ages. Wife loved the avocado on toast. Really nice venue and friendly staff. Nice cake too but such big slices! (Nice problem to have!) Would happily go back.

Been coming to coffee tales for years. The staff and owners treat you like family. The coffee is the best in Birmingham I think and they are happy to tweak it how you like. We have a double ristretto flat white and it's amazing. Food is top notch, definitely worth the price. I've seen them coming in the morning to cut up everything and make it fresh. Cakes are homemade and absolutely delicious. You can also order online for bdays or events. It's our favourite place to go and we will continue to go and brag to others I hope for years to come!

Coffee tales is a lovely, cosy place to have coffee, breakfast or brunch. The staff are very friendly and attentive. There is a wide variety of coffees, smoothies and other drinks. Breakfast/brunch menu is really nice too. Poached eggs on avocado and sourdough toast is delicious. Also, definitely recommend the pancakes with Nutella and bananas

A lovely spot! Was only there for tea/coffee, but the pastries were extremely tempting. We ordered a mocha and chai tea. It was a bit busy (about 3/4pm) but still a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and cheerful.
