   I ordered an integrated washer/dryer in July ‘25. It was eventually delivered about 6 weeks later as someone had forgotten to order it. I paid £90 for it to be installed. It is now vibrating really badly as it’s been sited on old pieces of wood which are disintegrating. At no time was I advised that these bits of wood, which must have been under the old washing machine, were unsuitable. I’m now told there’s nothing they can do to remedy this. I’ve shopped at Appliance World several times previously, and have recommended them to others. NEVER AGAIN.

   Few days ago,spoke to Jane @ the Swinton branch (794 no) re: integrated washing machines who was really helpful, giving me all the info I required. ( I'd dealt with them 3yrs ago & were great to deal with,) I later decided to buy & phoned back. Unfortunately spoke to a really obnoxious, unhelpful male (Urmston branch, they apparently share the same phone no?),due to his attitude decided to end the conversation (which is why I deducted 1*)I then decided to call back & hopefully speak to Jane. Fortunately for me Perry answered (Urmston branch!), he was Customer service @ it's best,really helpful,decided to give him the order. I rang again yesterday, to enquire what time approx they would deliver.....SO wish I hadn't! Once again spoke to Mr Obnoxious, his attitude was appalling, why on earth he works with the public i don't know. Thanks to Perry, washing machine delivered & installed really quickly & ontime today. If I had to deal with Mr Obnoxious in future I wouldn't contact the Urmston branch again

   Bought a washing machine and dryer a few weeks ago online from Appliance World. Stated online that they were both in stock and would be delivered within 5-14 working days. Did not hear from anyone regarding delivery. I rang to be informed that dryer was out of stock and estimated delivery would be 4 weeks! I asked why it did not say that online and man said they don't put individual details on each product. Delivered today. Put on a wash and washing machine is leaking. Rang back to be advised that the person who fitted it thinks it was fitted correctly. They will send someone out tomorrow to look but cannot give a time. I bought all my appliances here 10 years ago when I moved house. Never again.

   We wanted to try and support local businesses when we bought our new house and appliance world in Urmston had been recommended. We can see why. We visited on a couple of occasions, once to browse and second time to order. The staff have the right balance of offering help and advice without being overbearing. One thing I liked was the man we ordered with didn't automatically steer us towards the most expensive appliances when we were asking questions to make our decision. He was v helpful and knowledgeable. I was particularly impressed when they delivered our washing early for us- the next day after asking -as our old one broke, for no extra charge. Would definitely buy from here again

   I was with my partner looking for new fridge freezer. The man that is working there had no interest at all that we are there. No good afternoon or do you need any help. Completely ignored us looking at his computer. We have been there good 5-10 min so he had a chance to move back from the counter. Def I do not but anything from that place.
