    Experience of CURRYS overall, a special mention for the icing on the cake that is Elk Mill Royton. Telephone order from Curry’s (an employee who clearly wanted to be somewhere else), for collection from Elk Mill A Fitbit watch (with warranty) prior to Christmas. Upon collection we Asked where our warranty was and was told that it would be emailed. Turns out the guy had ordered the wrong product. Therefore no Christmas gift. Ordered a replacement with warranty to collect again from Elk Mill with the intention of obtaining a full refund for the first purchase. Sun/28th Elk Mill store not overly busy with customers, just lots of staff members either chatting or walking around aimlessly. Long story short, in total we spoke to seven “team members” who clearly did not know what they were doing. Every team has a captain and ElkMills captain was the store manager (latterly named as H, I’ll not embarrass him further). If arrogance was a quality that Curry’s desire in their leaders, then H has it in spades. Zero empathy for the customer experience and extremely poor communication skills. Eventually we obtained half a refund (to be given a virtual pat on the head and be told to sort the rest out online… spades H, spades). We then had to go to another part of the store to collect the replacement. When we said we wanted to check the replacement to ensure it was now correct, we were given an archetypal shrug of the shoulders and a walk away of couldn’t careless by a junior member “Z” (spades H, spades). Overall, our experience was one of total arrogance and inept training and management of employees. I will smile the day when the doors close for the last time at Elk Mill Royton and I’ll remember “H” and his spades digging this store’s grave (spades H spades). An add on… after a long drawn out telephone call to “customer service” to obtain a refund for the warranty we were told that it would TWENTY DAYS for the refund to arrive by CHEQUE!!! Who the hell sends cheques in the 21st century? CURRYS DO!!

    I bought a party box from the store and received a complimentary gift from the dealer. The next day, I exchanged it for a more expensive party box from the same store and paid the full difference. Still, Creation showed an outstanding balance, which they said was for the gift item.When I asked the dealer, she said it’s because I didn’t return the gift during the exchange ,but i actually brought it on the day of exchange and staff asked me to keep it .Now she would only refund the amount if I brought the gift back!! I don’t understand why I’m being charged for a complimentary gift that was given to me in the first place.

    It's a returns shop so went in for a fridge freezer and an under counter fridge both were new but a bit banged up if you don't care about that and just want something that does the job then great, you can get a good price, otherwise would suggest a normal Currys.

    We went to see what Black Friday offers were available. We weren't pestered by staff which was a refreshing change. There was plenty of staff available but were stood around in groups talking rather than looking available. When we seen a product we were interested in it was difficult to get some help. When I had to go to a group of staff at the till area talking they said they would get somebody to attend to us. When the staff member approached us they couldn't seem less interested because we were looking at offers and a budget product. Seemed more interested in fobbing us off and couldn't wait to get away from us. We had to go back to our car to calm down. We went back in and decided which product we wanted and seeked help again. The sales advisor that attended us this time was fantastic. Very helpful and great advice on the products. He dealt with our purchase efficiently and we left very happy. If it wasn't for this member of staff I would have only given a 2 star rating.

    Absolutely disgusted with the service from this particular store! Went in today to purchase a Garmin watch, chose said watch waited for approx 15 min to get the attention of a sales assistant, managed to get the attention of one and asked how I buy the watch please? I was told by the sales assistant that because Curry’s are not employing enough staff I would need to wait and that this is how Currys want to treat there customers! I said that I didn’t mind waiting to which he replied “I would have to as that’s Curry’s fault” I then said it’s not my problem that they don’t have enough staff and it’s not really professional of him to be slating the company I was left waiting a further 10 minutes whilst he was talking crap to another assistant to which I said forget it I’ll take my custom else where! I have now purchased said watch direct from Garmin online and will NEVER step foot in there again!

    Extremely unsatisfactory, stood waiting over 30 minutes to be told out of stock but they had a different dishwasher in a different colour and price range to what we had asked for. Or they could deliver next week for an extra £20. Very unhelpful staff and very lapsadaisy staff with not a rush in them

    We were served by Lily for 2 TVs, a fridge-freezer and a washer. She went above and beyond for us and we cannot thank you enough for helping us get the right products and securing one at another site for us to collect! Extremely polite and helpful!

    Awful customer service. Purchased a TV for elderly mother. They charged me twice and delivered a faulty TV. Their customer service will have you running around in circles with pitfalls to hang up on you. But not before they have been rude and impatient with you.

    Went in today. Asked for the price of a tv from a member of staff, who left saying they would find out and didn’t come back. Just rude and unprofessional. I would like to say this was an isolated incident, Sadly this isn’t the case. The same thing happened 2 weeks ago when I brought a washing machine. Most of the staff are to busy on their phones and uninterested is helping.

    Hi I bought a TV for £750 it tried to buy insurance for TV for damages the customer service asked me it’s better to buy insurance for your tv if anything to cover up and after 4 weeks the screen automatically went black and when I ringed the customer service he came and took my TV for 2 weeks and after that it said your insurance is not covered and I paid £145 for 3 years and I lost nearly £900 the customer service was very rude and I went there and explained everything to them and they still said the insurance is not covered and the screen still black and I’m still paying monthly payment and got no TV. Please guys look at my comment these people lie too much
