I went here yesterday with a large group of ladies. We had quite a few customisations on items. The lovely server was able to help us meet everyone's dietary requirements. Lovely food lovely service beautiful atmosphere and restaurant. And lovely glow of knowing I'm supporting an independent restaurant.
A surprisingly lovely restaurant, from the entrance to the alley, i didn’t think much of it, but once inside, very charming. The lighting is warm n soft, creating a cosy atmosphere within. The food is excellent, tasty with nice healthy portions without the michelin star nonsense (trying to be too clever). Staff were professional and attentive, without being too much in your face. The prices are very fair for the quality food they produce. I’ll be making this a regular venue to dine again.
What a lovely meal. A hidden gem in Guildford. Danielle on duty was very friendly and helpful. The duck carpaccio was delicious, the lasagna was some of the best I've ever had, and the tiramisu was probably the best. Absolutely recommended.
Absolutely loved our meal at Shardana in Guildford! The calamari were crispy and fresh, perfect with a glass of prosecco. I had the Milanese with spaghetti - super tasty and filling and the Shardana Special Pizza was packed with flavour. But the real star? The tiramisu. So creamy and light, definetly THE BEST I’ve had. Great service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re after proper Italian food!
Friendly service and amazing food! Loved the calamari and hot pappardelle. Can’t go wrong with tiramisu to close out the meal. Will definitely come back again
Nice Italian/Sardinian food served in here. Good selections of regional Italian wines and spirits. The only downside was that as they got busier they forgot about our table. Would come back anyway.
Didn't make a reservation but manager found a small table for us to sit at within minutes. Appreciate the GF options for the pasta, even if not for the pizzas. Nice options for cocktails, and the beer was fresh! The pizza was so refreshing after eating some sub par places in London. The pasta sauce was light and nothing too creamy. Happy that we stumbled upon this hidden gem!
This is our first time to this restaurant. The food is really nice and the staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. I’m not a pizza fan, but thus far, this has been the best pizza I’ve tried. The starter king prawn I would rate 4 out of 5; the prawns taste a bit soft today but I’m sure they are fresh. The deep fried squid is really delicious, better than the other Italian restaurant. I would give 5 out of 5. For The pasta with clams, if you have strong taste pls choose another dish as it’s quite light. The pizza is awesome. For the dessert, the lime cheesecake I ordered is tasty. It’s not really sweet which I like. Overall, the food is not cheap but the food quality and service match the value. It’s a very pleasant dining experience.
Good food, friendly and kind service. We were there for the first time and we will definitely go back. The toddler chair was a plus. Unfortunately, due to our child's lack of patience, we did not order dessert. The pizza was so big that we took half of it with us. I highly recommend this place.
Definitely a choice of restaurant in Guildford. We ordered appetizer: calamari and king prawn; main: pizza, risotto, seafood and steak; dessert: cheese cake and tiramisu. All tasted good and we had a great time!
