“The crab risotto and veal was an amazing combo! The veal dish is a perfectly delicate balance of different textures and flavours! The crab risotto was everything one is proud to write to home about (as they would say in old days), and in nowadays, yes it’s something they would post on here or insta for!”

“Visited last Monday during a week-long stag celebration and wow what a hidden gem! The garlic bread is quite honestly the best we’ve ever tasted and the cocktails were superb - and I think we tried the entire menu between us! Wonderful service, stayed open for us too. We can’t thank you enough, will definitely visit again if in the area!”

“We had a very memorable dinner at Carlo’s Trattoria ! Despite booking a table for 22 of us at very short notice , Bonnie and Jay went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing dinner for my family gathering. The service was attentive and impeccable throughout the whole evening and the food truly delicious with very generous portions. We all had the fixed menu with a selection of starters ( the fried calamari are the best I have eaten in a very long time - even my Sicilian auntie thought they were tastier than the ones in Sicily ) followed by the prawns risotto and fresh ravioli with porcini mushroom and sage which were both heavenly! We ended the dinner with an amazing selection of desserts, all beautifully presented. I live in London but I will definitely drive back to Guildford just to eat at Carlo’s again!. “Wow what an amazing find!! So pleased to come across this super tasty Italian cuisine! An authentic Italian eatery in the lovely surroundings of scenic Guildford. A cosy restaurant with lovely decor and those authentic Italian vibes! Wonderful service from our server who was helpful, efficient and very friendly. The food is phenomenal. Real Italian food! We enjoyed the Margherita pizza, mushroom and cheese arancini and the chocolate cannolis! Soooo tasty. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in Guildford looking for real genuine Italian food, with a homely feel. I am looking forward to coming back and trying some more food and the coffees.”
