Thanks to the grillmaster, Carmona is a great place for beef connoisseurs outside London!”

The garlic bread is quite honestly the best we’ve ever tasted and the cocktails were superb - and I think we tried the entire menu between us! Wonderful service, stayed open for us too. “I visited the Guildford Parkway Beefeater restaurant on Wednesday 19th November. I was not particularly hungry so a meal from the children's menu sufficed. This was steak chips, peas and mini corn on the cob. The food was delicious and very promptly served. K-C was my waitress and was extremely professional and polite. That said, this applied to all the staff and the atmosphere was very relaxing. In particular I consider that the meal was excellent value for money at £6-99. As an example, I recently paid £9+ for a McDonald's meal. Food was good, and service prompt,  BUT, as with all such restaurants, I had to eat with my fingers from a paper bag. At the Beefeater, I have a proper plate and cutlery, and service was just as quick as at McDonald's. Also, yesterday, before dining at the Beefeater, I visited my local Costa. Staff are very pleasant, however I paid £12+ for coffee, cheese cake and a toasted sandwich. In other words, almost twice the cost of a "real" Beefeater meal! Plus, again I had to eat with my fingers! So, overall, many thanks and I look forward to my next meal at Guildford Parkway.  Allan Woolston.”
