Had an absolutely awful experience at this store. I queued at the front desk to make a purchase, only to be told when I was next in line that I needed to find a sales person on the shop floor instead. I walked around and saw several staff standing in small groups chatting about things that were clearly not work-related. I eventually approached someone who was standing alone, but he told me he was on his lunch and that I needed to find someone else whilst on a personal call walking through the store. When I finally found a sales person who would help, they took me straight back to the front desk, the same place I had originally queued to complete the purchase. After paying, I was told the item would be delivered the next day. Just 30 minutes after leaving the store, I received an email saying the item was actually out of stock and wouldnβt be delivered for another two weeks. Complete waste of time and an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Doesnβt even deserve 1 star!

This review is based on my most recent experience in currys ashton. I needed my a replacement id sim for my phone contract and called to store to speed the process up. I Was helped by Jimbo who works in that department in all honesty he is probably the employee I've ever come across at currys. He was very knowledgeable and got done what I needed as fast as he could whilst helping other customers in the same manner. Now Currys you need someone like Jimbo in every department. Thanks

Jordan whom managed the gaming section on Saturday was super friendly, chatty and attentive. We was initially told that we could not purchase the displayed office chair despite it being sold out online and instore but Jordan managed to get approval for us to do so in the end. Many thanks!

Bought a TV for my childβs bedroom at Currys and had a great experience. The staff member was very enthusiastic and helped us find the best option within budget. Since I had my child with me, he kindly carried the TV to the car as well. Excellent service.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Absolutely shocking service. Bought my daughter's 3 Laptops for Christmas and one died completely in January. Took it back and they wouldn't replace it and insisted on repairing it even though it was about 3-4 weeks old! They said that they give no grace whatsoever for Christmas gifts and because it was bought in November (even though it wasn't opened til Christmas day) it was out of their 28 exchange policy! Shocking service. Very upset little girl who had has a laptop 3 weeks and now has to wait for it to be repaired. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Dealt with a Samsung rep. Very polite and knowledgeable. Although the TV we wanted wasnt in stock, we walked away happy. They price matched and got Β£500 off so always worth an ask.

Sold me an oven that "was definitely" compatible with my circuit board only to be told that it was not. When I asked how to resolve this issue they told me I need to sort it out myself and there's nothing they can do. Took me 2 weeks to get a refund so couldn't even afford to buy elsewhere and not so much of a sorry was given. When I asked if there was any way I could get a different one so it could be fitted I was told absolutely yes! Brilliant I thought..... But, back to the bottom of the queue for fitting, 2 months later.... For something that their salesperson had gotten completely wrong (no blame on the salesman, I don't know to what extent they are trained, he was very friendly and approachable)
