Will never call them again, rude, not bothered, i asked them to leave and because it was stuff from a bereavement was shocked how they were behaving. Try anyone else but this place

I have a £3k + Cousins extendable oak dining table with chairs. Arranged pick up and the guys refused the chairs because the upholstery was stained (one of them very lightly which would clean easily). And the table needed to be folded. They spent 3 seconds looking at the table before deciding that they couldn’t move it without fully dismantling it - not the case at all - and refused it. Never seen a clearer example of a couple of guys that just couldn’t be arsed to get the job done. And this for an item which could have made hundreds for the charity. Baffling to me. You could never run a business with this attitude. I’ll have no problem selling privately but was trying to do the right thing.

I visited this shop recently and asked for help with furniture measurements. One of the male staff made inappropriate comments (such as saying he wouldn’t help if I were older, and the other commenting on my smell). This made me feel uncomfortable. I’d like to see staff being more professional when speaking to customers.

Be very careful buying wooden furniture from here that needs disassembling..I agreed to buy a Double wooden pine base bed from here on the Friday and was told it would be took apart and ready for collection on the Saturday.. Come Saturday rang 3 times to kept being told its not been took apart..Finally got a phone call to say it was ready, so I went down to collect it and they had managed to snap half of the wooden dowels off connecting the Headboard of the bed to the base.. Didn't say anything, not a word, just hoping I wouldn't notice and take it and go..I noticed the damage and said I won't take it, then the red haired bloke offered my money back.. Accidents happen, things can break but just to say nothing at all is just Naughty and wrong in my book, I won't be coming back..

I have bought from this branch a few times over the years and I have always found the staff to be lovely and professional. A few years ago I had an issue with a table that arrived damaged but wasn't damaged in store. The staff here sorted it. Then a few days ago I ordered two couches and the woman on the till who took the money for the couches had written I paid for them but hadn't put the delivery date for the friday in the diary. So I waited in and they didn't arrive. Spoke to a guy with a lush irish accent and he sorted it to arrive the next day. He was very apologetic and dealt with the problem quickly. So all the staff have been friendly and helpful in my experience. The items in the store seem to be in good condition. Theres a mix of preowned and new. The new items are more expensive but the preloved are reasonably priced. The two couches I got were about 300 in total for a 2 seater and a 3 seater and they're well made. They don't feel as flimsy as an ikea couch, they feel stronger.

Wow What a poor attitude in that store. The manageress needs to learn about customer service and how to speak to people properly. A very unpleasant visit today and others shopkeepers I spoke to about it today agreed heartily.

Staff at this store are very helpful and couldn't do enough for me today. 4 star rating only because of poor parking in area and super busy roads. Good selection of furniture at very reasonable prices.

Very bad experience from this shop that I experience today.I ordered dining table last week as a delivery to my flat and I paid 25 pound extra as a delivery charge. When they came with the dining table they broken the leg infront of me as they taking very roughly and in hurry burry to drop the things and I told them to take it back as I don't need a broken one. Again I went to shop on 02/04/2022 I purchased again with dining table+ coffee table+Mirror as it of 209 pound and they promised that it is free delivery. 06/04/2022(today) was my delivery date that I given to them, as I am waiting from early morning onwards to get touch with them nobody was answering that phone call in this number that they given in their website. At 1:15pm I got a call from a private number and informed that it will deliver between 1:45 to 3:45pm today and I informed them that I am here I am flat. Until 4:30 pm I didn't receive any updation or delivery and I tried to connect them same as before no answer. At 5pm someone from a private number called me and told me that they came here and rang me but nobody was here in my flat. How it possible as I was cancelled my all other things and waiting here from morning onwards. They are telling me to pay again 25 pound as delivery charge. No way..I am totally fed with this order and this shop.I need my refund.

Would definitely not agree that the items in the Sale branch are 'junk'!! My daughter bought a fantastic sofa bed for £120 and a small armchair for £20, both of which have been tremendous value. BHF were able to deliver within two days and arrived precisely when they said they would. She is on a very tight budget and was delighted with her purchases and also with the fact that she has donated to a very good cause.
