Purchased an iPad + Pencil online. Decided to return before unboxing. Website clearly stated return is best via local store. Came to the store and spoke with Phil and Rayhan. Poor customer service. Terrible communication. Did not provide any proof or evidence that I could not return the item to the store, whereas I clearly showed them what the website stated. Did not want to help at all or signpost me anywhere. Ended up arranging collection for return after calling call centre.

This is the second time I have gone into this store and there has been no technician available. In this instance I wanted to trade in my laptop to get a new one. The girl who attended to me was polite, but it was obvious that the store operation was disorganised and all over the place. She had asked a man named Dan for help with processing a trade-in but he made no effort to hide his disinterest in the situation. My impression of him is that he is impolite, condescending and not best suited for customer-facing work. The staff couldn't find the equipment they needed to do a trade-in and another staff member came over to inform me that the tech had locked their stuff away despite being absent and that the only stuff they had on hand wasn't working for unknown reasons. These two members of staff were very apologetic, which I appreciate, but this branch is the closest to home so I'm not thrilled about, once again, having to travel further out to the White City branch for assistance.

We ( myself and my girlfriend) ordered a new laptop ( she did) but it wasn't available in Halifax at this price , so decided to buy it from the Manchester branch , then decided to make it a day out in Manchester that we always enjoy.. Anyway , we arrived at the store , the staff ( chap) was very helpful , and quickly found our order , checking it was the right one , double checking we were the actual customer who had paid for it , then done ....very helpfull, would not hesitate to do it again... Kind regards Kev...xkxxx

Its location is very convenient so I normally always stop off here, I've been multiple times and I've had a mix of experience. Recently when enquiring about a laptop they've been extremely helpful, setting aside one for me and talking me through all the aspects as someone whose not very knowledgeable! However, when I've previously been they've been extremely unhelpful, showing they clearly did not want to be there. It wasn't that they didn't know stuff, it was effectively didn't want to talk. However, I've noticed recently I've had a lot better experience, so I'm hoping that the stores on customer service is on the up!

I’ve bought two products and had issues with both. First was a Nitro 5 gaming laptop about a year ago. The box was damaged when was handed to me, but I assumed the laptop would be fine inside. Unfortunately, the screen turned out to be faulty. It was replaced, but I’m still having issues with it to this day. The second product was a monitor that arrived tilted to one side. Rather than go through the hassle of returning it, I had to put folded napkins under one side just to get it to sit level. From my experience, it doesn’t seem like Currys takes proper care of their more fragile products. Disappointing overall. Would never buy from them again.

Had a great experience with staff I did my research already so I knew what I wanted. The Asian manager gave me discount on my laptop setup. And gave me a cheaper deal on my sky package.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. We wanted to return a faulty item but as we purchased online we weren't able to return to the store even though we called the customer service team and they said we could do that. The staff member we spoke to was so rude to his colleague, rude to their customer service team and quite passive aggressive with us. He also told us incorrect information. We then went to ask the manager if this was correct and when we tried to explain the situation he didn't care to know about it. There was no apology for being messed around and the manager took no responsibility for his employee. Don't purchase anything from Manchester Arndale, go to a different store. Never seen such bad customer service.

I went to Currys to buy a replacement computer. I was unsure as to what make or model that I wanted. I was advised by a member of staff, a young lady named Hamra, as to which computer would best suit my needs. She was professional, knowledgeable and helped me to make the right choice. Thank you Hamra! Your help was most appreciated. Kind regards Tom

If I could give them 0 stars I will. I bought a surface go 3 from here and they promised 11 hours screen on time. In actual fact the product only last 4.5 hours during actual usage. I tried to return it they said if it's faulty they'll have to test it. It took two days for them to test it only to find out the person testing it wasn't even a technician, I didn't get a call to pick my machine up. Manager refuse to acknowledge the fact that I have the right to ask for a refund. I have filed complaint and was told this will be an internal issue and I won't be updated on this issue. Have never experienced anything this bad.

Tried to buy some headphones on my lunch break, knew exactly what I wanted. Wandered round the empty store for 15 mins until i found someone to help asked him if he could grab me the headphones and he told me "sorry mate I'm busy at the moment". Just bought them outside the store on my phone. Next day delivery and £40 cheaper, shop around is my advice
