Great staff! I've been around Manchester for years but I've never been in this shop. Went in and thought it was amazing with great prices. They don't just sell electronics it's everything!

I recently bought some Creative PC speakers from the Oldham St store in Manchester. The assistant who served me took the time to show me the product, explain the returns policy and was professional and informative. The speakers work perfectly and I'm really pleased with the service. Thank you so much, I'll definitely recommend to family and friends.
I bought a guitar online and received email shortly after that it was sold in store and they didn't manage to delist it from the online store. Ok, things happen so no hard feelings. I was however really surprised to see exact same guitar still being for sale online but for nearly 3x more. I understand that it's a business that needs to make money but lying to customers leaves very bad impression overall. Highly NOT recommended.
Nice friendly staff, very welcoming. Good selection of electronics. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend. I have previously used cash generators and the staff there are awful. If you are nearby use this shop as they will look after you. When a product is faulty they are understanding and solve the issue promptly. Cash generator are the opposite and will hurl abuse at you. If you are looking for a good 2nd hand store or somewhere to pawn a couple of items. Use CGX
Been in and bought a few times, you can tell the quality of a place by how they handle things that go wrong. I bought an older MacBook that needed to be returned / exchanged; it wasn't a bother and everything was handled well. Shout out to Emma who is always helpful.
APPALLING I use them a lot well not anymore! Long story short they I feel like they taken advantage of me because they know I spend a lot in there lost my iPhone 14 was then sold a XR at no reduced cost that had 3 major faults then even with that tried to sell my back my iPhone 14 and full cost considering the drama with the XR
Shocking company, ordered a phone with ‘excellent condition’ listed as the grade, received an email saying that they didn’t have the stock and offered an alternative, I told them as long as it was boxed and in good condition I would accept, it was a gift so I needed it to be in fair condition, I didn’t receive a response from them but the order got shipped so I assumed they had read the message and sent a good phone but no they sent me a badly damaged phone and now they have ignored 3 emails, trying to get the return details and they will not respond, avoid like the plague, scam company
I recently lost my mobile phone and wasn't contactable. Peter & Liam from CGX were exceptional by contacting the person who had picked up my phone and willing to arrange to go out of Manchester to pick up the phone on my behalf and deliver it to my home as they have my address. Peter went even further and tried to contact me at work but with several offices in the North West this wasn't as easy. Simply 1st class, impeccable customer service and evidence that Peter and Liam are a great asset to CGX
