The food was great and it’s a beautiful setting but it wasn’t made clear that only selected items were on the midweek 2 for £15 or 3 for £20 offer. Hence the poor service score.
Fantastic food! We went for the first time this week and shared 6 dishes between 2 of us. They were all delicious and we thought very good value given the standard of the food and its presentation. The service was both friendly and efficient. We sat outside with our dog and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.
Organised a baby shower at Botanic Road and it couldn’t have gone better. The team were helpful without hovering and the space looked great. We had the snug upstairs which worked perfectly, cosy, private, and easy to make our own. It meant we could have drinks before and after the meal without being stuck at the table. They’d added fresh flowers to the ice bucket and were totally fine with real candles, which most places push back on. The food was excellent. I had the lamb roast which was done perfectly and everyone was happy with their meal. We could even have dogs with us which just added to it. Such a gorgeous space for hosting small events or special occasions. Will definitely be back for dinner or brunch soon.
On one of the hottest days of the year so far, my friends and I decided to have a Sunday roast dinner. Whilst an odd decision on our part, I’m glad we did! We preordered our meat a few days before, at the request of the restaurant. The food was lovely, with large portions and cooked to individual choice. Cocktails went down well too! Recommend.
We ate here for the first time, it was beautiful! We ate a variety of things, Steak, Scallops, Cauliflower, Chicken and multiple others. The food was delicious, service nice and all was beautiful, I would highly recommend.
Amazing . This is my second time here! The food is just unreal! So tasty! Service spot on, not too much and not too little, timed perfectly! They also have a really good selection of non alcoholic drinks, and mocktails! Will be back again soon

Great food and drink. Service was good. Need to make sure new comers understand the menu, but we know what to expect and ordered as required. Drinks also great. Always go back.
Superb food in an intimate setting within an historic village. Choose a selection of small plates per party from the ever-changing menu. Enjoyed the place several times, must remember to take more pictures!
