First time visit. Ate off 2 course early bird menu. Fantastic value for money at £18.95 for 2 course. Visited as a party of 4 and everyone was equally impressed. A decent amount of choices on the early bird menu to suit everyone.
The food here is incredible tastes fresh and well made. They went above and beyond for a nut allergy in our group
Enjoyed a very nice meal here recently. The food was delicious and the staff were polite and attentive. So why only 2 stars? Several reasons. Firstly was the prices. 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 fried rice, 1 soft noodles, 2 pints and a soft drink (and a tip) came to 100 pounds. No prawn crackers, no crispy duck pancakes. No other extras. No other dishes. Yes, we had a fillet steak dish and an expensive starter but a hundred quid for 2 people is just ridiculous. Is seven pounds for a bowl of soup a bit much? Having never had it before I opted for the soft shell crab (which was delicious) but no dipping sauce or sauces (which were desperately needed) in a starter costing 14 quid is bang out of order. The mains were delicious but there was hardly any sauce with either dish and the fillet steak was advertised on the menu as being served on a sizzling platter but wasn’t. It used to be. Also, I am pretty sure the fried rice used to be served in a bowl with a lid that kept it hot but now it isn’t. The food was hot when it arrived at the table but cooled very very quickly. The noodles and rice were stone cold by the last serving and there wasn’t enough sauce left in either main dish to go with them anyway. I think we might try somewhere else next time.
Can't believe I've never been here before with it being so local too... Food was really tasty + delicious, staff are lovely + very friendly., services is quick, Restaurant is clean + a good vibe too. Will definitely be returning + highly recommend this place.
We hadn’t booked, but they fitted us I. On a Friday night. Amazing food, service to match. I would highly recommend, we will be back 100% ❤️
