This is a small pizza takeaway that's been here for 35yrs, and there's a reason for this. They make there own pizza bases and they're quality is consistently good. Yes you might pay a few quid more than the competition up the road, but it's worth it!!!!
Capones is a takeaway pizza venue rather than a restaurant. If and when I am on a client site, where possible, I will treat myself to a deep Capones Special. A real flavourful pizza with fresh ingredients and a very filling meal, offering value for money. The taste of the pizza notably the crust, takes me back to childhood pizza memories.
I understand this place gets a lot of positive reviews because it’s one of the only white British run pizza establishment for 5 miles. However, objectively the pizza was so average that the ones they sell at Sainsbury’s is about the same quality at a quarter of the price. If you don’t believe me, give it a try.
Honestly, probably the best takeaway pizzas I've had. We collected so got one of the deals for the XL pizza & it was called something like the 'meat boy' (I'll amend later if wrong) but the amount of toppings on it was was amazingly generous
First time having a pizza here and saw that it has very good reviews, so luckily I was in the area and gave it a try. The pizza's were both excellent and yummy. I'll be getting my pizza's from here now on as it's not far from home and a lot better than Domino's.
Great pizza. Been ordering from here for years. However tried using my loyalty points and for the second time they have not been taken fir the order making a £20 order inro a £35 order. I rang them and said I have to cancel my order as it is not them that run the loyalties. No option to cancel online, they want me to reorder and trust another company to refund. I think £70 is a bit steep for 2 pizzas for a single mum so I am hoping that the refund comes through :-(
Absolutely phenomenal pizza! Ordered as my friend is gluten intolerant - we weren’t disappointed. As you can see from my photos, there was no shortage of toppings! The website is way to navigate and it’s very clear how to make substitutions for any toppings if you have allergies, etc - my friend was very impressed. I would highly recommend and will certainly be ordering from Capones again!
