Sent me raw chicken and cold to the touch when I called to complain they tried to gaslight me into saying that the chicken is a cold extra added on top and it is pink because it is marinated in a sauce.
I’d give zero stars if I could. I ordered the pomodoro, pesto and mozerella pasta and ended up receiving a totally different meal containing an extremely spicy arrabbiata sauce. It was far too spicy to eat and the pasta was cold and hard. I called Uber who refused to send me a refund as it was down to the store to rectify. Upon calling the store, there was supposedly ‘nothing they could do’ They then said they would replace it but didn’t have a driver to send it out’ and proceeded to blame the uber delivery driver for the wrong sauce which is just ridiculous. I was told I’d receive a call back once the restaurant had spoken to uber yet no one ever bothered to phone. Please listen to the other reviews on here and don’t waste your time or money on this joke of a place.
Atrocious. The "carbonara" was a thin inch of bacon chopped into tiny pieces, placed on top of a soggy mass of overcooked pasta drowning in a sad, watery base. No creamy sauce in sight. Nothing seasoned - which still wouldn't have hidden the lack of meat! My wife's spicy chicken pasta didn't fair any better - a dusting of chicken on the same watery, unseasoned, overcooked pasta. It is an absolute joke that should be avoided like the plague. Only gave a 1 star review as that's the lowest rating available. Otherwise, it should be none at all.
How do you mess up a simple pot of pesto pasta? plain over cooked pasta with a dollop of pesto on top…don’t even get me started on the spicy chicken one that’s supposed to be mascarpone based…tell me what mascarpone you’ve had that’s the consistency of WATER. God NEVER again. Save your money and cook yourself some plain brussel sprouts, will taste better I promise.
Meal was missing from my delivery. Upon calling the restaurant, all they could offer was a refund and said they can't send out a replacement meal
2 stars because of it's value. Otherwise, there are plenty of other decent pasta options locally on the high street in Beckenham. The food here is bland and pasta soggy.
I would avoid this place. The pasta is awful soggy and no flavour the sauce has the consistency of water.
The creamiest, most succulent pasta in the south east. Just don’t order the vegan dishes - as they are more flavourless than water I think it was just an unlucky experience, so I’ll be the bigger person and look beyond this unfortunate experience. 5* otherwise
