Great hot food! The pastries were great. They were freshly baked and tasty. The price was reasonable. The staffs were nice. Toilets were clean.

The timber yard is nice for a quick bite to eat, and if you have a dog like us, there is a room where you can sit, the main café is off limits for dogs. Be aware you will need your National trust membership to get into Lyme Park, or you will have to pay at the entrance gate.

Cafe was cramp and service area is difficult to get into when busy. Food was reasonable but some better value options would be appreciated. Good dog area and I imaging a great location when warmer. In the winter and during the rain, a little too crowded inside and not very well laid out. Everyone stuck waiting for drinks and others unable to get served.

After having queued for an interminable eon; At the front of the queue I was told that a (recyclable) cardboard cup would be 15p extra. As opposed to a ceramic mug which would require a chemical clean in boiling water. Do people really buy this National (un)Trust(worthy) nonsense. Do they not see it for what it is - simply a further moneymaking scheme. The disposables are recyclable and they have cost NT vastly less than 15p each. Respond to this criticism NT, I would love to know how you can possible justify this exploitation of your members.

Visited 25/10/2022, staff behind counter were fantastic and handle all requests for food and drink with ease, I would advise you if you visit and order food to take a look at the order number on the receipt, I put mine away without looking and missed the lady from the kitchen who brought the food out, until she checked with the counter team. The egg bap and luxury hot chocolate are recommended to get you going on your adventures on site, with seating indoors but plenty outdoors too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

During half term so extremely busy. Had to queue for half an hour before finally paying for food. Not enough staff to deal with volume of customers. Inside cafe a mess but plenty of outside tables. Had sandwiches and they were fresh but very expensive.

While the food was nice, the queue was very long with only 1 person on the till. The staff was veryfriendly, working hard, and the setting was lovely. It could benefit from managing the queue slightly better as it was 25 minutes in a queue to grab to kids boxes from the fridge and go through the point of sale.

A great coffee stop with plenty of outdoor and well spaced seating. Leave yourself time to queue as with the covid restrictions it takes longer. The icecream is quality. The scone was a little dry, hence not 5star. Staff as friendly as you would expect for NT (very welcoming).
