   We are both delighted to have found the Lavender Pot some while ago. It immediately became our top weekly treat. Everything is exactly what we like : And in no particular order of preference - the great homely atmosphere, the o so friendly and obliging staff ( and customers ! ), the delicious and generous portions of homemade food most reasonably priced, and last but not least the Emporium in which the cafe is found is a unique treasure trove of idiosyncratic independent small retailers well worth visiting. Everything to recommend it ! Thankyou Lavender Pot and Emporium for being here ! X X X

   My friend and I were very disappointed with the food. The coffee wasn’t very strong, or that hot. Served in glass mugs. Tea cake overcooked. Shan’t be visiting again I’m afraid.
