   We have been visiting here since the early days when it was just a pop up coffee shop with a few woodland tables and awnings above .It was utterly charming in its simplicity . However it has become increasingly commercialised in the last year or so .Yesterday we visited with our five year old grandchild. It was busy as we expected ( New Years day ).However we felt very disappointed with the experience .A massive ugly dark green Marquee now dominates the site and the once simple children's playground has now been fenced off so they can charge children £6 ( 5yr old granddaughter) the equipment was not proffesionaly constructed with small children in mind and there appeared to be safety issues with some equipment .Frankly we thought it a bit of a rip off I'm sure it will still remain popular but I do t think we'll be going anymore but thanks for the earlier memories.

   Sadly this is not what it was. Having been twice in the last year with our granddaughter and found its simplicity charming we went again this Christmas only to find an attempt to commercialise it has spoilt its natural attraction. They have developed a tatty and dangerous playground and charge £6 for a 5 year old to enter it - a lot to pay for each child and definitely not worth it. So sad its initial charm has gone. We won't be back.

   What a lovely find! There is a 1km, 3km and 10km walk that you can do all with ‘Into the Wild’ as a half way point. We are a family of five and there was something for each of them. Lovely little coffee shop selling cakes and some beers as well as a pizza oven located by the children’s play area. We never went to the cinema but there are regular showings of kids movies all on a large screen with beans bags. There is plenty of shelter for rainy days, and it is clear a huge amount of effort has gone into setting everything up to look the way it does.

   I had the most wonderful experience at the pony ride, meet Father Christmas, and amazing coffee event! The pony ride was so much fun, and the ponies were so well-behaved and friendly. It was such a joy to ride through the beautiful woods and take in all of the Christmas cheer!! But the real highlight of the event was definitely meeting Father Christmas. He was so kind and jolly, and he really made the whole experience feel extra special. Plus, the coffee was absolutely amazing. I've never had such a delicious cup of coffee before! Overall, I would highly recommend this event to anyone who is looking for a fun and festive way to spend the day. It was the perfect combination of excitement, holiday cheer, and relaxation. I can't wait to come back and do it all again next year!

   Great open space cafe serving hot and cold drinks, pizza and more. Situated in a lovely area of covered woodland. Kids can have a play and run around in the wild. Plenty of seating for those who want a rest. Parking is 5-10 mins away depending on ability.
