Really enjoyed my lunch at Capuchin! Run by a young couple, this place has everything you'd want from an independent café: lovely, relaxed atmosphere, perfect location in Hale Village, seconds away from the busy main Street, and yet still very central. Highly recommended. You can park on Hale's main street for a couple of hours, or in the railway station's car park directly opposite the café. Christmas decorations and the gentle Christmas music in the background made it all the more welcoming.

Decent coffee, but that is about it. Food felt expensive and not very big. Other customers who arrived after us got served first. Even coffee. Dog friendly but very small space indoors.

This is a lovely little coffee shop that does exactly what it says on the tin….it is really good coffee and probably the most reasonable in the area. The food I’ve had has always been spot on. I like the fact that it’s a simple menu but changes can be accommodated. We recently visited for our first quiz evening. We had soooo/too much fun. There was a variety of drinks (reasonably priced for the current climate), bar snacks were good and the quiz was a bit of something for everyone…we didn’t come last!! It’s a lovely lay out and thoughtfully decorated. The staff are down to earth and really nice. I always feel welcome here. Thank you x

Perfect little coffee stop for lunch & a quick caffeine hit! In the outskirts of the city for the day, I only had a short hour to find somewhere to eat & drink - Capuchin was the perfect little location! I initially walked past the door the first time, looking inside but being informed to go someplace else (close-by) which was supposedly the place to go... It was meant to be though because this location was being re-furbished & therefore, I came back here & was glad I did. The food was delicious & the coffee even better! I was served quickly with a friendly smile & the food didn't take too long to come out either. I can't remember how much it all came to but it wasn't a bad price & something totally expected for a good quality brunch & coffee. Would return & recommend a lot in what seems to be a competitive little corner (street). Well done guys!

I popped in for the first time on Saturday afternoon as I was early for a hair appointment. What a lovely little spot! I only ordered a pot of Earl Grey tea, but the service was warm and friendly with the tea piping hot. When I needed it transferred into a take out cup, they were happy to oblige. When in the village next, I will definitely stop by for its unpretentious and welcoming.

The best coffee shop in Hale and Altrincham hands down!!! The staff are exceptionally welcoming and helpful to a fault, the coffee is beautifully made and the cakes deserve a fan page for themselves. Best of all is the fact they are dog friendly. Would definately recommend the red pesto, mozzarella and chorizo bagel! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Capuchin was simple delightful! Lovely, bubbly staff. A very relaxed vibe and I love all the plants! Would recommend the caramel frappe- was delicious. Love that they work in partnership with another small business specialising in baked treats. It’s great to see small businesses working in partnership. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Just wished I lived closer to it to visit regularly.

I was keen on visiting the place on the day it opened and it has lived up to my expectations. Friendly owners, large selection of drinks and top quality home made desserts. The cafe was very busy yet we were still made to feel so welcomed. The decor and attention to detail of the place is truly beautiful. I would most definitely reccomend this to all.
