   I love PKB in Angel Gardens but it was my first time at the airport PKB waiting out a three hour delay on a potential stand by seat to make matter worse and as if that wasn’t enough bad luck I spilled my hot chocolate all over the floor and felt incredibly awkward about it. The team, specifically Ali, was an absolute angel (he also was the one behind the till who was a sweetheart) and helped me (when I say helped, he dealt with it himself while I stared cringing at me myself and I). Five star food and service!

   Dropped in for a coffee and pastry - quick service and best coffee I’ve had for a while! At last someone gets that by not overheating the coffee you get flavour… it’s in an airport so it’s never going to be cheap - but probably the best caffeine fix I’ve found in T2

   The menu looked interesting online but when we got there it was either a bacon or sausage butty for £7.50 (not £6.50 as the menu said). It came with two small sausages in a dry bun. Very disappointing. Clearly just cashing in on airport users. One to avoid!

   Bought two glasses of wine to sit down and drink to be told they’re not letting anyone sit in as yet. Yet people sat in and spare tables available . Girl rolled her eyeballs and decided to speak to another member of staff and call me because I asked why we couldnt sit on the seats .so I I asked for the managers name which she replied Katie . Very poor service and attitude . Will write to Katie and show how empty the place was . Monday 28th august at 4 pm . Have pictures .

   Went to the toilet at Terminal 2, Manchester Airport and then washed my hands. The bloke next to me finished at the urinal then didn’t bother to wash his. What intrigued me was he was wearing an apron and cap so obviously worked at an eatery here at the airport. I followed him and saw him saunter to Pot Kettle Black, punch in a code on the door to their kitchen and go inside. Avoid unless you like knob juice on your panini.

   Really disappointing, long black came as an Americano in what looked like a dirt disposable cup my partners flat white was basically just coconut milk. Server couldn't care less. Dirty, total dump, really bad advert for Manchester.

   [Asia Honeymoon Tour 2023] 27/02/23: Coffee Mocha with Coconut milk and an Americano. Served very hot, which was a bonus. Customer service wasn't great, as the woman on the till (short red bob) was miserable, but the drinks arrived quickly and the Mocha was tasty. The Americano was slightly bitter, but softened with some brown sugar. The central bar seating area had plug & USB sockets which came in handy.

   Queued for 25 minutes in a relatively short queue. Service very, very slow. 2 staff refilling & unloading stock & only one girl on the till & also making coffee. When I queried getting a 'still water' from the fridge the woman filling the fridge snapped 'I'm doing it now'. A warm bottled water did not appeal, so I passed on that purchase. The Muslim girl was very friendly in serving the coffee, however the coffee was tepid... won't be returning sorry. As a frequent flyer feel you need to sort out your customer service & allocation of staff.

   Staff were lovely and the coffee nicer that elsewhere in the terminal. Unfortunately the pastries were very stale to the extent of being hard to eat. The staff said they were new in this morning (a few hours ago) so they can only have been delivered stale. Shame as the branch in Manchester is very nice.
