MOST HORRIBLE service I’ve experienced. Please avoid this place at all costs, the Lenghas are overpriced and most importantly the service is horrendous. I recently went wedding shopping for my sisters wedding, and on numerous occasions the owner had made remarks about my mums weight, saying a certain lengha my sister wanted to try on would only be able to fit my mum as ‘she’s big’, which she had repeatedly kept implying. The fact that she was a women saying this was even worse.

If I could give zero stars, I would. In my opinion, this was one of the most chaotic, unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had. My dress came back looking nothing like what I asked for honestly, I’m still trying to figure out how someone could miss the mark that badly. She called my sister colour blind which was bold considering the work she delivered seeing as we asked for blue and left with turquoise?
When my sister asked a perfectly normal question, she got hit with comments that were so unnecessarily rude it was almost impressive. I’ve never seen someone so committed to being dismissive and overall obnoxious. She called my sister illiterate because we questioned why there was an extra charge on our order which is unbelievably audacious!!! Scammers should take lessons from this lady. Overall, the whole interaction felt like a masterclass in how not to treat customers. Definitely wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy stress, disappointment, and attitude you didn’t ask for. As well as a lecture on how she has “20 years experience and knows what she’s doing”. Which is funny considering none of our outfits fit and needed alterations, it really makes you question what kind of experience she has that makes her so entitled and lets her think she can talk to people like that.

The rudest customer service I have ever come across, wish I could give this place a 0. I witnessed the owner attempt to publicly embarrass another customer who was just requesting the price of a Lehenga. The owner raised her voice and told the customer she could not shop here as her pieces were £250+. The confrontation was completely unnecessary and unprovoked, it was clear she had passed judgement. An incredibly rude owner who needs to learn manners. Don’t shop here

Took my bridesmaids and mother in law for their outfits for my wedding. I wanted Maroon for the bridesmaids and my mother in law wanted purple. I was advised to pick a certain material and was told that the colour would be what I wanted. Not only did they fail to tell me when the outfits were ready, but my bridesmaids outfits were bright purple! My mother in laws outfit came out pink and didn’t fit her. Will not be shopping here again if I want something custom made.

I went in to look for an outfit for my sister’s wedding a couple of months ago. The sales assistant and owner were amazing and made me feel comfortable immediately. I ended up purchasing two outfits I completely fell in love with (a mint coloured one and a grey/blue). The owner and sales assistant ordered the sleeves for one of my outfits and they arrived really quickly. Amazing quality too! I would highly recommend and will definitely be back to shop for more!

After hearing stories of bad bridal boutique I wanted to write a good review for Payals as they were great. I ordered my dress mid pandemic the dress came out perfect exactly the changes I’d asked for. I made one mistake I didn’t take my wedding heels for the measurements so had to rethink my shoe options as it was a little short with my high heels but that was my fault.
They held the dress for 10 months which was amazing as I had no place to store it!
Over all great staff! I wish they let you take pictures before you buy I found it difficult to choose as my mum wasn’t present but after we paid a deposit we were able.
The lady who served me throughout I think is the owner who was great she really guided me through all the options and alterations (which I needed none because the stitching was perfect!) the quality of the Zari work was beautiful.
Thank you so happy with my dress it looked beautiful on the big day.

All the suits have been of the highest quality and the prices have been very reasonable. Bought my engagement outfit from here in December and had an ok experience. Have been back twice since to look for bridal outfits and the owner herself was extremely rude to her own staff in front of customers and also rude to us and other customers in the store. Don’t think we were even in there for 5 minutes before walking back out. Shocking customer service and will not be returning or recommending to anyone to purchase outfits from here. The sales assistant on the bottom floor was helpful.

Such a lovely place to shop. Very glad that I shopped around the area before making my final outfit choice at Payals. Staff were really helpful and took their time to go through the different types of outfits with us. Each outfit was uniquely made & would not be found in other stores. Staff were not pushy about a sale and left us to make our own minds up on which outfit to choose. Shop owner explained the craftsmanship that goes into each outfit which you can clearly see in the work. Will definitely be going back here again in the future.
