    Loved it here A proper pub! Took the wife and our pet pooch a week ago on a Saturday. The landlady is absolutely lovely. Really chatty and welcoming. Couldn’t have been nicer. Favourite thing was the atmosphere. Immediately felt relaxed! We all know pubs are struggling so support them!

    Called in 4 days ago when everywhere was snowed under and the roads were deadly with ice! The absolutely lovely landlady came rushing to the door and guided us into the warmth. She had one of the staff make a hot coffee for my husband free! I bought a lager and lime which was just perfect. While we were there two paramedics called in to use the toilets; and again, the landlady made them both a cup of coffee free of charge! What a lovely, down to earth lady! The other staff were friendly too. Really nice, traditional pub with wonderfully welcoming staff. Highly recommended! ☺️
