   Our first time here and what a great experience. It’s in a pub so a few drinkers as well as diners. The large tv’s were a bit in your face for us but we understand the demand for sport. We were welcomed warmly and shown to our table which was a little small but in a quiet corner. It was reassuring to see a number of S E Asian diners so felt it must be good. We weren’t disappointed. We shared a sharing platter of chicken, ribs, prawn toasts and spring rolls which was excellent; tast and a nice portion. As mains mywife had the Nasi Goreng Andy had Malay Beef Curry. Both were superb albeit we couldn’t eat it all as the portions were quite large. We apologised we had not eaten all and the lady owner was very gracious and said “when you come again, just have starters and share a main.” That was a refreshing attitude for us. We each had a pre dinner drink and shared a bottle of white wine with our meal. Total cost £71. We will be back again and take the advice re mains. The service was also excellent and deserved the tip we left. Well done to all; we really enjoyed the visit and will tell our friends.

   Wow! What a brilliant place! We called in for a few beers and something to eat but had no idea how good this place is! Staff = so friendly and chatty Beer = great choice and very nice Food = oh my god, delicious (Also dog friendly, our Cocker spaniel got lots of treats). We will definitely be back again. This place is a gem of a pub/restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. 10/10

   Happy to see it’s reopened and we’ve tried Hainan Chicken rice and White Curry Chicken rice, which is not traditional spicy curry but very special and tastes really good. Their Hainan Chicken rice is the best in town. Amazing food and staff. Highly recommend.

   Went for the first time since the new management and for the quiz night. Had the best time. Good priced drinks and food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. All round excellent time. Will definitely be going back and probably becoming a regular. It's also in a perfect location for if you're planning a night out in town, or drinks after a day's shopping. Can't recommend this pub enough!

   Recently changed hands only reopened for a week or less. Friendly owner, girlfriend and chef. Selection of beer .... funny that for a pub . Definitely now my local . Update ... (some comments above removed as now eaten here) Been open for a few weeks now and I go here once or twice a week although last week was more. Coming on in leaps and bounds . Quiz night last week. Live music tonight (i am not there tonight). Family Halloween day soon. Ate last Sunday ... Sunday lunch was great. Catered for my veggie daughter . You need to ask what's for pudding as there was more than on the menu available
