   The BEST pub food we have ever had. Hands down. 6 of us dined and we all thought the same. Everything was fresh, home made and delicious and fabulous prizes too! Lots of options for veggies/ vegans like myself. Definitely pay this place a visit!

   Great little pub and the food is amazing. Think they use Mettricks meat. Lovely veggie options. Great selection of beer and gin. Sometimes you can even spot wall art on a garage over the field opposite the carpark.

   A great place to go for a quick bite or book in with the family and have a good time. I’ve done both and always been welcomed with a smile even after a Christmas rush, where not all the menu was available but the service was great and we were informed and still all found something good to eat. Good selection of drinks and if you’re out walking it’s perfect to stop in and dog friendly. Car park available and I would say wheel chair accessible.

   I recently visited this amazing restaurant near the Peak District with a beautiful view. The location is perfect and quiet, making it an ideal spot to relax after a long hike. There's plenty of car parking, it’s dog friendly. The food is fantastic. I highly recommend trying the hamburgers and the local beer. You'll love it!

   I pass this pub on a daily basis but have never visited until today. The place is lovely. A very old building with a nice atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place. Food is very reasonably priced.

   We have visited The Hare and Hounds twice in the past week. Once on Sunday for lunch and on Tuesday night for quiz night. Both times we were made to feel very welcome. Food was good. Staff were friendly and there was a nice buzz about the place. The only slight downside is the toilet that is cold and needs decorating. Our dog Milo loved it too.

   Called in here on a whim. Excellent country pub. A warm friendly welcome. Good choice of drinks. The food was excellent. Starters and mains were top class. My Mrs’ pudding was incredible so I’m told. The only loss of star was my brownie had been slightly overdone. But nevertheless; excellent value for money. We will be returning.

   Very lovely little pub with great views. We visited here for the lunch menu during the week, good service (a little slow but there did only seem to be one person doing front of house). Food was tasty and a very decently sized portion. Would absolutely come back here again and try an evening meal.

   Fantastic food, friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Good sized car park and outdoor seating area available. The steak was lovely and their salt and pepper chips and regular chips are immense.
