   We called in to watch some live music, which was very good, and it's a credit to the pub that they have it on. The pub itself is lovely, a traditional, locals bar,which is where our issue arose. Granted, they were busy, but we were ignored by 2 members of staff, who served around us. Now, we initially tried to give them the benefit of the doubt until one girl actually served a man who was standing behind us! A really pleasant chap,I think might have been the manager, swooped in to serve us, and apologised for the wait,just as we were contemplating leaving -and we'd travelled about 20 miles to see the act. He saved the day later on ,too,when it happened again, and I went to the bar alone. I'm all for locals and local pubs,but they are surely expecting passing trade when they have acts and bands on.

   Attractive, lively pub with a friendly atmosphere. Pleased to see that there was a good cask ale available. Lee's Rudeboy Roadshow was supeb. A couple of the barmaids should learn how to serve customers in order of who's been waiting the longest. The barman in the glasses was excellent.

   Good night out was had. Busy for a Friday but may have been due to Christmas period. Staff worked hard and served as fast as they could. Beer choices not the best but was cold and drinkable.

   What a great evening! Second time our band (The Shivers) have played their. A huge crowd turned out to see us and we all had a fantastic time. Lovely people, fantastic staff can't wait to be back in November!

   Passed on a Thursday. Spotted they hosted a pub quiz. Still do pen and paper which is a dying art in the weekly quiz game. Bit pricey at just over £10 for a round of 2 but nice bar staff. Cant see it as a regular at those prices but a weekly treat. Worth a visit

   Great pub. Unbelievably good entertainment on the night of the visit provided by the 80's band New Identity. Superb singer, superb musicians, superb entertainers. Best night out in a long time.

   Went last night (15/4/22) We went to watch the act that was on (Undecided) never been before had a fabulous night. Staff really friendly and the people who sat at the same table as us made our night. Great atmosphere would highly recommend for a night out.
