We have been many of times to Cote's Brasserie in Salisbury and the last couple of times we're not as what we expected. The first time the food was underwhelming and they did not have any of the wine that was on their wine list available that we asked for, keep in mind it was a £50 peer bottle wine that we usually get. Today we went for another meal but again it was not at their usual standards. The onion soup had more bread then soup let alone cheese in it . No one checked on us if the food was ok till we complained and we had to call the waitress over to return the soup plus we had to chase to get the wine we ordered. We understand that times are difficult, but the price on the menu has increased so one expects the standards as it used to be which used to be excellent.

I enjoyed my food but we weren't as blown away as the other reviews. Certainly the people on the table who ordered the steak left feeling hungry still, and commented that it didn't come out cooked to their stated preference. The staff were bumbling around getting in each others way and bringing food to the wrong tables.

Amazing from start to finish! Our waitress,, Elena (not sure I’ve got her name right!) was absolutely delightful, nothing was too much trouble, even clearing up my eggy mess for me!! I had the full breakfast which was cooked to perfection with an apple juice and coffee. 10/10 highly recommended!

I love a Côte Brasserie, but this one was not my favourite. Don't get me wrong, it was still good, but there was something about it that just didn't hit the spot. We arrived around 6pm it was quiet, but service was a little slow; I had to rush my pudding down as the car park was due to close at 8pm. The food was good, but the main was exceptionally hot, like lava and I did burn my mouth. Despite beautiful old stained windows and a nice decor, part of the atmosphere for me I think was how approaching middle age, we still managed to bring down the age average quite significantly. Other Côtes have a wide range of ages and I never normally consider this a factor, but the Salisbury branch is favoured by the more mature generation. This did have it's plusses, being able to overhear some conversations being had in loud voices was both a little irritating but also entertaining at points. I'd return, because the food quality is still ok, and I don't think you could go too wrong with a Côte. Just lacking in the old... Ambiance.

Went to this restaurant for my Christmas party. It was a great service. They were very well organised and we didn’t feel like we were rushed. I have taken photos of the main dishes. The steak was tasty. Maybe as it is a French restaurant it might be more rare than what I consider medium rare but that is being harsh. It catered well for a large group of us (15 in total) they were quick to deliver. I would recommend it again to family and friends

I had a lovely brunch here at the weekend for a get together for a close friend. The team were so friendly and accommodating. I took in a few simple decorations & cupcakes and they made it look just perfect. The food was great & service too. Lovely chilled atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back again soon! Thank you for a fabulous Sunday brunch.

One of the best meals we had in England. Each course was better than the next. Reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere for a dinner for two. We would come back here again for sure and recommend it to friends. Filet noir was one of the best steak entrees I have ever had.

Great to have lunch at this marvelous French restaurant. I love my confit de canard. Thats really French exactly as what I used to had in Paris. Crispy skin and tender inside. Orange flavor source makes it not greasy even if you had the whole piece. Two slices of cooked sweet potato taste well. The only thing I am not satisfied is the dessert Tarte de citron. It is definitely not what I expected to have in a French restaurant. However, it is great that our waitress Anna is really nice and friendly. Regardless of the dessert, I still love this place.
