   Was at a christening in the function room, the room was fabulous as was the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately this was spoilt by a very rude young lady with long dark hair behind the bar, when I was served by her. She slammed my drink down on the bar with force that it spilled down the glass and glared at me. I have no idea why as I had never been to your bar before, nor will I be returning as this was repeated after my wife placed a further order later on. She placed the coffee on the bar with force again, laughed and pointed to the other young lady behind the bar, who, after 10 minutes brought the coffee and then took it away as there was so much coffee in the saucer. Won't be returning after receiving poor service by this individual, which is a shame as you have a lovely pub

   I was there for a funeral, so a large family gathering. Plenty of room for us all, and the staff were all efficient and friendly. Ordered food - some unusual choices for a pub menu. (Tempura veg and Duck bon-bons.) Good enough quality for the price. Nice, friendly pub on a sunny afternoon.

   We've been coming here as a family for years. The service is always fast and friendly and the Sunday carvery is spot on! The foods always hot and fresh. Firm family favourite. The team put on family events through out the year and these always go down well with my two children. Would recommend. The venue catered for my dad's funeral towards to the end of lock down. This was handled well and in line with (then) guidelines with respect and professionalism by the staff on that day. For this we was very thankful

   Food was delicious and staff were welcoming. Pet friendly around the bar/restaurant area which was lovely as we were took our pup Daphne. Was too quick to start eating the food so no photo’s were taken!!
