   Very disappointing experience. We have been visiting for a number of years and enjoyed our time here. Tonight someone in a EDL hoodie came in, he appeared to be a regular, the owners were there. It was a very uncomfortable experience and ruined a nice evening. I couldnt possibly recommend a place which allows this, I can't see how i could feel comfortable returning. A shame as this is our nearest pub, but I cant see this as acceptable in any way.

   The decor is wonderful with nice art on the walls, a fireplace, and some quirky items for a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and it was all just very lovely. The selection of non alcoholic drinks were really great, and there were sanitary products in the women's toilets, which shows the level of care this place has.

   We called in last Sunday evening, 13th Sept. No food available (fair enough it was quite late) so the man behind the bar suggested that we go to the excellent Indian over the road to order a take-away. He said they would deliver it to the H and H. That worked well, and the same kind man even brought us plates and cutlery to where we sat outside on that warm evening. We had some drinks and thanked him for his great kindness. It was well beyond what we would have expected from him, unfortunately didn't get his name, and we were sorry not to return there as we were leaving the following morning. What great service!
