This pub is a old fashioned gem it has still got its old-fashioned styled rooms and snug it has that quaint appeal to it, and it's a propper locals pub. There is a really good range of Robinsons hand pumped ales on offer today from Robinsons Keep up good work people involved with this pub
Excellent traditional pub. Friendly atmosphere and bar staff. Good food, jukebox and range of Robbies cask ales although a bit pricier than should be expected. Several tv screens to watch live sport.
We were hangry after party shopping for our twins, and this pub was on the same street as the balloon shop. We had no expectations but were completely pleasantly surprised by our food here, so much so that I'm writing my first Google review. This was the nicest tapas we've had since we were last in Spain, for affordable prices too. Well worth a visit.

Excellent pub with great food and staff
Found the staff excellent, nothing is any trouble, well looked after in the 3 tunnes
Great place to watch the football. I was visiting the area and Hamish recommended many good local attractions. We visited as a large group as part of a bell-ringing tour of the North West. The food was excellent. Could not recommend enough
Very enjoyable meal and drinks with excellent COVID protocols. The chef kindly put a vegan meal together for us and came out to make sure all was ok. The staff did a brilliant job in providing table service. Felt very safe and comfortable. Highly recommended for both food and beer.
