Great pub wasn't sure from the outside as it was my idea but it's a massive pub with some authentic decor well worth a visit.

Great Hydes pub. First visit back in the 70' when it was a basic back street local. (Hope Inn? ...Paulicarus says Albert Inn!) Hard to believe Didsbury took so long to become trendy. Totally refurbished in 1998. Big extension plus beer garden. Great sun trap. Worth heading off the main road. 90 seconds walk. Beer always in good condition. Full range of Hydes beers. Paulicarus had a Ralf and Alf in his favourite front room.
Had a baby guiness shot and the baileys was curdled, told staff who weren’t interested and didn’t offer a refund or a replacement drink. Disgusted.
Top boozer, great atmosphere and lovely beer. I got rather drunk but did not disgrace myself, for once.
Hyde's brewery limits one's choice, but a great pub nevertheless especially if you get a seat
What a gem of a back street pub really lovely interior from the rooms to the snugs. The room I sat in had a couple of door bells at the top of the seats. Truly well worth a visit
