Five of my family were lucky enough to have our Christmas dinner yesterday at the Puss In Boots, Nangreave Road. When we first arrived at 1.10pm for 1.30 the place and garden was very busy, but this didnβt affect the smooth service at all. We were shown into big room through past the carvery, and was given a great table. Served with drinks almost immediately. Served with delicious starters soon after. Then we were asked to go to carvery for main meal. As usual there was a very wide choice of meat and vegetables. All the food delicious, good portions, served with smiles and fun by the staff. Even the hats and crackers and napkins were top quality. The person who was βrunning the showβ a lovely gentleman called Marc I think, was excellent all afternoon and kept everything running smoothly. I havenβt got a negative thing to say about our Christmas dinner yesterday at Puss in Boots. Thank you. X Lynn Dalton, Great Moor.

Visited with my girlfriend for a carvery and it was superb. The food was delicious, everything was piping hot, nicely seasoned, great selection, and the gravy was beautiful. Not too shabby on the meat selection and portion size either which is always nice. The wine selection was also very pleasant. Definitely recommend if you havenβt been, lovely spot.

Everything at Puss in Boots is always amazing. The food is consistently delicious, the staff are incredibly friendly, and both the team and management regularly check in to make sure youβre looked after. Every visit feels like a big family reunion β the atmosphere is always welcoming and full of good energy. Whether we pop in during a walk just for a drink, or bring family and friends who are visiting, itβs always our special go-to place. Everyone we take there ends up loving the experience and the food just as much as we do. The staff always take great care of us, and the manager often stops by our table with something new we have to try. I would highly recommend Puss in Boots to anyone in the Stockport area. The atmosphere truly makes you feel at home, and whoever you take there will leave with positive energy and appreciation for the warm interior and amazing service.

This is a great restaurant based on my experience. Itβs pet-friendly, and the staff are very kind and welcoming. They took the time to explain the different sauces for the carvery to us since it was our first visit. The food is delicious β the Chinese char siu was even better than what I make at home! Thank you for giving our family a wonderful meal and a lovely day.

Beautiful pub with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating including a childrenβs play area. Beautiful decoration, seating and atmosphere, every bartender, waiter and host was naturally friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome. We were wanting a roast dinner to end the bank holiday and found this gem. For 15 quid you get freshly cooked meats and veg of your choice, we opted for the beef which was tender, juicy and flavoursome. All sides were self serve, freshly replaced and the veg was cooked to perfection, greens were green and not soggy and wilted, an array of sauces and gravies to choose from and a HUGE Yorkshire pudding, served on a hot plate. We were over the moon, will definitely become regulars!

We visited for the first time today. Lovely pub on the outside and the inside. Plenty of parking and seating inside and outside. Dog friendly with a cute barrel style water station. Food was excellent and arrived promptly. Service was the best we have received in a very long time which has prompted my review. We were served by Marc who was lovely, friendly and polite. Thank you Marc for making our visit a lovely one. You are a credit to the Almond Pubs family :)

We went for dinner around 4pm. Nice atmosphere, really good food. I loved the lasagne and the fish and chips were nice. Most prices were pretty good but I skipped a cocktail, Β£8.00 was a bit too steep for us.

A fantastic pub decorated beautifully. There's a lovely conservatory to have your meal too. I had the carvery. There was about 5 different meat choices and huge Yorkshire puddings. Pigs in blankets are available at an extra charge. There's a great selection of vegetables. Lovely roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, mushy peas, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, mixed vegetables. 3 types of gravy. Vegetarian, meaty gravy and gravy with peppercorns. The usual sauces are available, apple, cranberry, mint. Our server was Marc who was just delightful. Me and my friend will definitely be coming back.
