   The thing is this is a great pub to drink at. A great boozer absolutely for wetting the whistle. The waiting staff are superb and are done a disservice by the absolute ineptitude of the kitchen staff. We ordered food at 19:22 and told it would be a half an hour wait. I would like to point out this was a Thursday evening, half the tables were empty. It took an hour for our starter to arrive which was 8 sticks of fried Halloumi. By 20:45 we couldn’t be told what time a chicken burger and a rare steak would be delivered to the table. The waitress staff were then put in a firing line because one of the chefs had gone home ill and the rest of the kitchen staff to quote one waitress were “too busy laughing” . A good pub. Let down by inept kitchens and lack of organisation.
