    Traditional pub with a lively and friendly atmosphere. Karaoke and a pool table. Pleased to see a decent cask ale available. Attractively furnished and a very impressive tiled floor in the entrance. Vastly improved from a few years ago when it was The Nelson Tavern.

    Rude customer service asked for a coke took a ship of it and it was flat and I told the bar staff and they said it was not flat and they said drink it or leave it that I find absolute disgusting after my dad had sent £9.50 in the pub won’t go in there again would not recommend it.

    Only my second ever visit and that was about 35 years ago. Albrecht spotted that they servea real ale. I thus had a good pint of Timothy Taylors Landlord. The floor tiling is impressive. A traditional pub. Well worth the visit. Small rear car park.

    Nice friendly town centre pub. Welcome both home and away fans in a nice friendly atmosphere. Hobgoblin beer was excellent. Hope to go back as long as County don't get promoted, sorry!
