   Traditional boozer, Holts beer so not expensive. Friendly staff and customers (although one or two of the clientele may have enjoyed a drink or two too many when I was there!) All in all, recommend.

   Joseph Holt pub on the way to Manchester. Great selection of Holt's and the staff and regulars are friendly. I always pop in on my way to Manchester if time permits. The landlord keeps a proper decent pint of Holt's. Crystal clear and perfect temperature.

   First time in here and to be fair hard to judge but will be honest. The service was a little slow but the lady behind the bar was on her own and at about 6pm it was fairly bus.y. The pub looked clean, tidy and well presented and most important of all the beer was really nice. Would I go back yes, would I recommend yes.

   Cheap drinks and plenty of seats and clean. Doesn't get busy but looks can be deceiving from outside. Nice beer garden with heaters. Very big tv with sports

   This excellent traditional Holts pub is now even better since a major refurbishment. It has however retained its very friendly atmosphere with a range of superbly kept beers, together with gin and rum cocktails. Its a classic Manchester pub, very well managed and a great place to spend an evening.
