Stayed here for one night. Room basic, but spotlessly clean. Bit of noise from neighbouring room's squeaky bed but that could be sorted. Staff very welcoming and the pub had a great atmosphere. The highlight was the food. I had the sticky beef with noodles. The peppers and spring onions had been prepared and cooked perfectly. The beef was tender and tasty. All brought to the table by a smiley chef. Very good. Would stay here again.

Lovely evening meal at the King William. Food was delicious and the service couldn’t have been better. Lee , the manager, was very welcoming and friendly. First visit but will be back!

We visited the king William for lunch and was quite surprised to find the pub very quiet with only a handful of other people in. However, we were welcomed by Lee See and shown to the table of our choice. Lee took our drinks order and then provide us with menus. This is Robinson's pub and the menu is what you would expect. However, what I would say is the quality of the food that we had was excellent, 2 of us have cheese and onion pie, which was beautifully balanced, seved with gravy, vegetables and mash (though we had chips). The other meals that we had were equally filling and enjoyable. The King William seems to have undergone a transformation over the last couple of months and they are undoubtedly trying to attract new custom through quiz nights and other activities specifically on Monday evening. I have to say that we found the whole experience really enjoyable. Lee, the manager. Was extremely helpful and the food that was provided to us was of really excellent quality. We will be going back and for a simple Robinsons pub, in Wilmslow, it is one to look out for.

The food was absolutely deliciousβ€”fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was clearly made with care and attention to detail. My personal favourite is their Buffalo cauliflower wrap. The service was first-class too. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional. They made us feel welcome and well taken care of. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it!

Came for a Christmas meal a few days ago, as well as some drinks every couple of weeks or so. Nice size/ambience, warm and friendly but not too small to be too cramped. Staff are very nice and the food is great - the roast potatoes and the chips are to die for!

Lovely pub that I pop in to for a pint regularly , great atmosphere too. Was with a large party for food and it was super tasty and all ran very smoothly. Highly recommend popping in.

Chose to stay at the King William as it is close to Manchester Airport. The room was okay, comfy bed and i had a good night's sleep. I didn't eat at the pub but had a couple of beers. Nice ambiance in the bar and i would stay here again.

Almost empty at lunchtime. Wanted light lunch but menu for this was not to my liking or taste so plumped for small portion fish and chips. Served quickly and very hot ... but the chips were huge like ganja blocks. Nice half of bitter. Not the bargain lunch available at another local pub. Won't try again.
