   Booked for a party of 8 for the 3 course festive menu and Mia was very helpful over the phone. Mia also took the time to call me back the night before to confirm all our menu choices were available. This evening we had our meal and Tom served us. Tom was polite, helpful and had set the table with lots of festive touches including Christmas crackers, which was a nice touch! 3 course meal was only £23.39 pp so a good bargain! Food was served piping hot and quickly. Dessert was everyone's favourite course. No complaints from us! Mia and Tom were professional and helpful. Thanks for a lovely midweek meal to kick start the festivities!

   Went here because we had a money off voucher. The venue itself could do with a good deep clean, sticky tables, dirty walls etc. The food is classic quick pub meals. I'd suggest smaller plates to make the portions look less sparse. Not sure I'd be happy paying full price. Worth a visit to guage your own opinion.

   Visited for dinner, we both wanted the pie and chips, no pies left., We then chose fish and chips and they had to check if they had fish. We were about to leave, but they had two left. The food arrived and we were pleased either the good, fish was excellent, large, chunky fish and good batter. The pub was a bit smelly, tables very sticky. Toilets really clean and tidy. Not too busy on a Monday afternoon. The pub is next to the golf course, with a great view. The pub could be so much nicer and it would increase footfall from golfers too.

   First impression is that of a clean well set out traditional pub/restaurant. Clean and tidy bar and tables. Wide range of drinks. Soft drinks are overpriced which is a disadvantage to designated drivers and those who don't drink alcohol. Menu is decent with varied choices and a great 7 choices for vegetarians from which 4 are Vegan. Prices are reasonable. We went for 2 x Cowboy Burger Meals, 1 Intimate Veggie Burger meal and 1 Untimate Southern Fried Chicken burger. All meals were served hot and cooked to perfection. All 4 of us enjoyed our food. A big shout out to Tom on the bar who took our orders and cleared the tables after we had finished. Service is quick and friendly. We ate inside despite the weather being glorious as we were watching the Man City V Wolves match. There is a friendly atmosphere in the Old Hall. We will be back soon.

   An impromptu decision to meet a friend for a drink, we didn't want to go far and I suggested this pub which I've been to once before. We were mindful it could be busy due to it being Mothers Day. We arrived to be told lots of tables had been booked so sat in the bar area to drink and have a couple of sides from the menu instead of the lunch we wanted initially. It was fine, but we noted hardly anyone turned up and the dining area was still partially empty and wondered if the staff were trying to make life easy for themselves by keeping diners to certain areas - so on that basis, not impressed. However it was a pleasant visit once another table became free and we could move to hear ourselves speaking above the upturned volume of the football on the screens in the pub. The sides we ordered were tasty but portions of chips a little on the stingy side.

   Went for a quiet meal yesterday evening. The place was warm and welcoming, and busy, but not too crowded. We had to wait a while for our meal , but the food was tasty and well cooked. The manager , Jen was very apologetic and couldn't do enough for us. Will come again !

   Visited yesterday while the staff were dealing with a difficult situation in the kitchen. They were all very kind and considerate whilst dealing with this. The food as always was lovely and arrived quickly and we will definitely be going back again with the family soon. Many thanks again x

   Driven past a few times and kept thinking what a beautiful building it is, and kept saying we need to try it! Finally went tonight. Fabulous staff and beautiful food. Found out when arriving that it was curry night (Wednesdays), £7 for a choice of curry (beef Madras, chicken tikka, chicken korma or veg curry). Fiance opted for a chicken korma and I went for the beef Madras. Both absolutely gorgeous. The beef was so tender! All curries come with naan, rice, poppadom and mango chutney. Sadly forgot to get pics of the food! Absolutely loved it and will be back soon ❤️

   First time for ages in here, food was excellent pub grub, and at reasonable prices. A lot better than I was expecting and 3 empty plates. Dog friendly, family friendly, and finally a pub with a proper pub atmosphere again. We will definitely start frequenting here again.
