Stumbled across this place during a trip up to the city. Fantastic pub - busy, great atmosphere, proper service. Took me back to how pubs used to be when I was growing up. I'd always hoped that this kind of pub still existed - glad I found The Millstone

Been before and always a good feel. Singing and quick bar service for reasonbly priced (city prices) drinks. We'll come again next time we're in Manchester

A truly Mancunian Pub! Ged knows his stuff when it comes to running a pub and his staff are a credit to him. Always attentive and friendly, thank you for letting me host part of my pub hen do in an iconic Manchester venue! Even better now theyβve got Boddingtons cask!

Went here about 3pm on a Thursday & it was great. Landlord came over & said hello welcoming us to the pub. Had karaoke going on with some really good singers. Bar staff all friendly & chatting to customers. Probably one of the most friendly pubs I've been in a long time.

Another traditional old style pub done up sympathetically in a shabby chic style. I liked that they have kept some of the original features such as tiles, wooden floors, and brickwork. Surprisingly big with 3 floors, worth a visit if you're around that area.

Karaoke? Better be an entertainer if you stand up in here. Obviously some professional warblers turn up and join the coffin dodgers to present a fine range of songs. Most afternoons entertainment starts at 3pm. Different compares put there own slant on things. Some coffin dodgers might get refused a mike. My favorite is Donna.. mon and thursday 3 while 6pm

I have been in this place a few times over the years and it has never and will never change. But that's the charm. Proper traditional old school Manchester pub. A little bit grubby, but friendly as anything. Go in, don't be scared. They do a surprisingly good pint of San Miguel.

I was referred to this place by a friend and it was exactly what i love, karaoke with the locals and old school music. The Karaoke host was amazing the crowd though a bit elderly were loving and friendly. Me being a backpacker i had a bag with me which i left next to the bar. The manager in 30 minutes asked me to carry my bag and move around, I couldn't believe what i just heard. I just took my backpack and walked off even though plan was to get drinks all evening. Horrible rude manager! but a great place, ade some good friends who I'm still in touch with.
