   Called in one evening after visiting Dunham Hall nearby. We had our granddaughters with us. They worked up an appetite running around the grounds at Dunham so we bought them fish goujons and hand cooked chips. They were delicious. Good beer, good service and friendly locals.

   Very nice homely pub, lovely atmosphere. Nice uk based drinks on tap - no pepsi, stella etc which makes a nice change and prompts you to explore new things. Pub encourages digital detox and in-person conversation

   Was staying at the house next door to The Vine for a family celebration, went into The Vine for food and drinks and the food was excellent, good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. John and his wife run a lovely pub in a beautiful setting and John was very attentive, friendly and welcoming to us. Would definitely recommend and pop back in if in the area again

   ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this took Hubby and I out to ‘The Vine’ a country pub in Dunham Massey, on the outskirts of Warrington. Neil had fish, chips and mushy peas with tartare sauce. I had Homemade chicken and mushroom pie, with mash and fresh veggies, with a side of chips to share…… ‘proper chips’ they were gorgeous. All the food was piping hot and tasty it twas too…. No waiting, just cooking time. The lady behind the bar and who served our lunch was friendly and very polite.

   Lovely plan to watch the Morris dancing with our son… or not. Met by rude bar staff looking like they were sucking a lemon telling us there’s no children allowed - despite us actually planning to sit outside. Obnoxious, rude, unwelcoming and not worth staying. Shame really.

   Nice locals pub in a country setting. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. Staff always friendly. Also it has a real fire in the winter.
