Definitely one of if not the coolest bar in Altrincham, Its an underground belgian bar that has an insane selection of beers that all come with their respective glasses which just adds to the experience and definitely makes you feel like you're no longer in England, another detail that adds to it all is the European radio station often playing songs in German, French and Dutch, a very nice touch that didn't go unnoticed
Absolutely love this place! Unrivalled Belgium beer selection, all in branded glasses. Fantastic staff and cozy vibes. You won't regret visiting.
Always one of our favourite places on a night out in Altrincham, great atmosphere, unrivalled selection of beers, love that they have all the proper glasses and stands, the staff are always the right amount of helpful! (Just make the font size bigger on the menu)
One star as I can't give less. We came in and found the shift manager incredibly pretentious. We drink in loads of bars and are in the industry (owning a brewery) but clearly the owner took against my brewery employee and best mate as not being suitable for his place. Lost sales from 20 people as a result because he really came across as an absolute bell end so we left.
A different sort of pub! Lots of excellent beers on offer and good service.
A great host with an understanding of what you would like to drink. Friendly staff only to happy to help , plus the best selection of the finest and different drinks you could want anywhere. For any drink lover Mort Subite is a must .
I absolutely love this place. So different from a real ale pub and a breath of fresh air - although there isn't much in there, it's on a basement, so has no windows. Has a fantastic range of Belgian beers as well as those from more unusual places - Norwegian beer anyone?! - had to be experienced by anyone who wants a change from the hippy IPA norm. It does have a few wines and cocktails, should you have any non-beer drinkers in your party.
Unique. Bohemian decor, French music, low lighting, table service only, excellent choice of beers. About 6 on tap, 200 bottled. In the old mortuary!
Mort Subite was recommended for a drink when in Altrincham for a night out. Man alive, what a great shout! How many different beers? (probably in the low hundreds as you asked) Nice atmosphere in the basement too.
