   A fantastic local pub – highly recommended Every visit to The Moss Trooper has been consistently excellent. The landlady, Molly, has clearly done a brilliant job training her team — the staff are always friendly, and Katie in particular is consistently lovely and attentive. We have eaten here three times and the food is great each time with a menu selection I'm eager to try more of. I recently went to their Santa Brunch with my daughter, which was a genuinely fun event for the whole family. I’ve even started taking my mum to the monthly Wednesday bingo, which is hilarious and the DJ comes to check each table is enjoying the evening. The pub itself is clean, well-decorated, and feels really well-run. Hopefully Molly stays here for a long time, because she’s created something special. Highly recommended.

   Fabulous pub. We are from out of the area but look after our grandchildren weekly in Timperley. Our son recommended the pub to us. We have tried other pubs in the area but nothing compares to the Moss Trooper and we now eat there every week. The menu changes seasonally and it’s always great. I only realised recently that it’s a chain. It doesn’t feel like one. Staff are very welcoming and efficient. Highly recommend.

   Really lovely pub with a restaurant feel in the main dining area, and a super dog-friendly dining experience in the Garden Room. Our server, Charlotte, was very friendly and attentive. Really appreciated the card on our table, wishing our Mum a happy birthday, along with a complimentary drink. Only downside was the dreadful smell from drains in the ladies. Will definitely return.

   The food was just about OK. We went in on a big birthday party. The mixed grill, the chicken was so dry and the steak was tough. My partners lasagne just lacked any tase whatsoever and was really bland. The Sunday roast beef was slightly on the tough side. That put aside there was a nice atmosphere in the pub and the beer was excellent and the staff were so good, nice and friendly. I would certainly return for drinks but not food.

   Go here often but probably due to being local. The food is good but service varies. Some things bit overpriced for 'pub grub'. Had the Sunday roast last week. Nice enough but ridiculous wait for food.

   A lovely looking place with friendly staff my only complaint would be that the Sunday roast comes with cold meat which really spoils the meal even with the bottomless gravy. The mash is exquisite but comes with quite a small serving and the roast potatoes are drier than the Sahara. I regret not getting a burger! Definitely will visit again
