Seriously what an absolutely disgusting place and owner! Sold me a 200 battery that lasted 3 months..... Tried to fob me off with a cheap 60 pound replacement and when I said I would rather just have a refund he told me they don't give refunds. Gave me another battery which was quite clear ly a used battery and when tested only had 50% health. Was aggrrssive and rude throughout whilst I was being a reasonable customer even though I was upset.... I would honestly avoid this place at all costs.... Dispicable ripping off local people who choose to support local businesses, from now on its amazon for me.

Squared up to me and got angry then refused to sell me a smaller amount of the same oil when I told him the 0/30 oil he was trying to sell me for £39 was £27 on Amazon. Totaly unnecessary actions by this guy, I'll never go to him again.

This shop is a Fantastic place to buy you car needs. Really helpful so competitive for a small business to half the price of the big multinationals who have the buying power. Bought a car battery for my elderly Mum quoted £150 Halfords, they gave me brand new battery came out and changed it locally at half the price. Really friendly helpful man could not recommend enough puts your faith in shopping local support small businesses .

The battery on my Jaguar XE turned to mush on Good Friday and I panicked! Google said that these guys, who are local to me, were open on the Saturday. I thought I'd try them, because I'd bought from them before. Sure enough, they were open, had the battery I needed and put it to one side for me. It was cheaper than anything I could find online and when I took my old battery in for recycling, the owner thought I was returning the battery I'd just bought. There was no issue with his attitude (which was said in the two negative reviews I read) just concern! Great service, friendly advice and very reassuring when I was panicking! If the stars went up to ten, that's what I'd give them!

Great service. My battery was flat and they came to my home (very local to their shop) and replaced the battery in minutes. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Won't hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them. Thanks guys.

I needed a bosch battery for my wifes car they ordered it and it was delivered to them in an hour for me to collect, excellent service and price again. Definitely the only place to go for car parts, they have always gone out of their way to give honest advice and help to the customer.

Top marks, faultless service, My car wouldn't start stuck on my homes driveway, one simple phone call to the Car Shop, a few questions about make and model, forty minutes later the battery was brought to my home and at no extra charge , now that is excellent service !!

I passed my test not long ago so I visited the Ashton Car Shop in which I was recommended to purchase my first car from. On Tuesday 3rd May, after viewing the car in manual, I placed down a £100 deposit for the car in automatic along with another £100 for the car to travel from the Bristol store to Manchester store. A colleague from the Ashton store confirmed with us on Friday 6th May of our appointment to view/collect the car on Saturday 7th May 11am. Come to Saturday morning, we come to view the car after my partner booking time off work and paying for transport to get us there. Upon arrival, we was then told that the car wasn't available. Apparently the car had a 'power cut out' on Thursday 5th May when it made its travel from Bristol on the motorway. First question is, why wasn't we told this immediately on the Thursday as a paying customer? And why has somebody confirmed with us on Friday of our appointment? We was then turned away and told to wait for an update further that day. Twice over the weekend I had to chase this myself after no one updated me! I rang the Bristol store yesterday on Monday 9th May, where they told me there was smoke coming out the car engine, rattling noises were made and a serious engine fault. Still on Tuesday 10th May after now chasing this everyday has no one got any updates for me whatsoever, best thing is the Ashton store has no clue what's wrong with the car apparently and are saying its still under testing!!! Not even the same information the Bristol store has, they actually don't know where that information has come from? Still I have not been refunded my deposit nor my travel money to get the car from Bristol (£200 in total). They actually have a cheek as company to ask if I want to look at any other cars with them... I am a 20 year old young woman with not all the money in the world, who has took the trust of a company with the experience of my first car and have had nothing but troubles with them. I have had to cancel my insurance that has initially cost me £400 upfront, along with the fees I have payed the company for the car itself. The level of customer service has been absolutley disgusting and what they have done is morally wrong. It has stressed me out to a level I couldn't even imagine with the financial loss I have experienced. I have received no contact from managers, apparently they haven't been in since Saturday.... conveniently! I will next be going through ambasment and my bank which no customer should ever have to go through. Will never ever reccomend this company with the position they have poorly put me in!
