This is our 2nd visit here ( we dont live locally) so our visita are far apart. The food on both occasions was delicious. We shared the CAMEMBERT for two, with 4 slices of toasted Ciabatta and red onion relish. Extremely tasty. I had the Lentil Cottage pie with vegetables. Really tasty. Hunters chicken was very tasty too. We ate outside. Then went inside for a coffee and to investigate this lovely old house. I read and looked at the photographs on the walls and found out it had belonged to The Boddington Family. Staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly.

Lovely spot near Manchester Airport for a bite to eat sadly the service is slow and very disjointed in terms of delivery of the food to the table long gaps between dishes. The food is nice and standard pub grub garlic bread was uneventful and hard halloumi fries were nice

This is a lovely venue, with welcoming and friendly staff. I can recommend the 3 courses for £30, which I believe to be rather reasonable. My only issue was my steak was slightly overcooked, (I like mine rare), but other than this, it was a very pleasant experience.

Very busy, don't think you need to book but would recommend. We went for Sunday lunch right next to the airport. Lovely venue, friendly staff and excellent food.

We visited this evening and had a lovely meal. We had the 3 course mid week deal, and enjoyed each of our courses. It’s a great idea having a small pudding and coffee, something a little different. Only thing that could have been better was the custard!

Lovely food, great servers! We enjoy going here for meals, they are super attentive toward customers that have allergies too, without making a massive deal of it (the two times we have visited, we have been with a friend with a nut allergy). Such great service, great pub meal, would definitely come a 3rd time!!!

An excellent meal of Roast Turkey and all the traditional trimmings followed by Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce, and a warm pub on a cold December winters night. Good service and fair prices.

Great country pub vibes the honey bee. Visited today with my mum for Sunday lunch. As it’s valentines weekend we pre booked ahead of our visit, we arrived slightly ahead of time and we were escorted to our table. The pub is very cozy, it has real log burning fires which were lit! Perfect for a rainy cold Day in the uk. I had the serloin of beef Sunday roast and mum had the trio of roasts, with a side of mash. The portion size is very generous and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend especially if you are visiting or living around the area. It is a great location about 10 minutes drive from Manchester airport.
